If you’re a tech junkie, maybe browsing Best Buy is a regular thing — your daily moment of zen window shopping, if you will. But if you aren’t, then perhaps you are less likely to know about the Best Buy Deal of the Day. These are quick-hitter, 24-hour-only deals that can range from a portable air conditioner to a luxe zero-gravity massage chair and everything in between.
Just because you don’t need the latest and greatest gadget doesn’t mean you should sleep on the Best Buy Deal of the Day. We aren’t talking just electronics here. Sometimes the deal is a discounted gift card (we’ve spied $10 off a $50 Jiffy Lube gc) or even a 12-piece Cuisinart knife set for $14.99 (regular price $49 — a 70% savings).
Now, remember, these deals are fleeting. They’re here one day and gone the next to make room for a new deal. So if you see something you really want, snap it up at that short-lived sale price.

The deals are 24 hours only.
Similar to a flash sale or lightning deal, you’ll find that the Best Buy Deal of the Day only lasts for, you guessed it, a single day. That’s 24 hours, people. And on their site, they do have a countdown to let you know how much time is left to snag a particular item at that price. You’ll find some cool gadgets, but also savings on things you probably didn’t even realize you can get at Best Buy, like furniture or kitchenware.
Best Buy’s return policy is pretty strict.
Unless otherwise noted, the Best Buy Deal of the Day is not final sale. However, the retailer’s return policy can feel like a labyrinth. Basically, the majority of items have just a 15-day window for returns. However, purchases that require activation (like a cell phone) may only be returned within 14 days. (I know, weird, right?). So be really careful when you make a Best Buy purchase, Deal of the Day or otherwise.
