There are plenty of regional Costco Food Court menu items around, like poutine from Canada or bulgogi bakes from Korea and Japan. It’s rare that any of these items come to the U.S.. But recently, customers have said that they saw the Costco Mango Smoothie from Hawaii appear on menus on the mainland.
Even though the mango smoothie has started to appear on Costco menus across the continental U.S., it doesn’t look like it has become popular with many customers. Here’s what you’ll need to know about the new addition, and other Costco food court items that have recently made their debut.

The Costco Mango Smoothie costs $2.99.
Just like their Mocha Freezes, the Costco Mango Smoothie costs $2.99. Costco locations replaced the Berry Smoothies with the tropical mango flavor These drinks boast four servings of fruit, no added sugars, and no additives or preservatives. Each smoothie is 360 calories.
Costco Mango Smoothies have been getting mixed reviews.
Online, people who have tasted the new smoothie have been mixed reviews. Some people on Reddit and Twitter are praising the drink for being refreshing and satisfying. Others, however claim that their batches taste overripe and have an “off-flavor.”‘
While we cannot personally claim any taste comparisons, we’ve also heard that the drink tastes like dried mangos. Depending on your flavor preference, you might like this drink or wonder when they are going to bring back the Berry Smoothie.
The Roast Beef Sandwich also received some backlash when it released earlier this year.
In March 2023, Costco introduced the Roast Beef Sandwich to their menu. While it looked appetizing, the price did not. For $9.99, you could get a single roast beef sandwich. Fans of the Costco Food Court claimed the price outrageous considering you can get a whole 18″ pizza for $9.95.

Costco Caesar Salads and chopped onions returned to the food court last month.
Fans of Costco hot dogs can rejoice. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the chopped onions (as well as Caesar salads) were discontinued from the Costco Food Court. But guess who’s back as of May 2023? Chopped onions won’t cost anything to add to your $1.50 hot dogs, but the Costco Caesar Salad has seen a price increase from $3.99 to $6.99.
