We fully expected the sale to start on April 2, but Lowe's kicked things off earlier than ever this year. As confirmed in the weekly ad, this year's Lowe's SpringFest started on Thursday, March 26, and continues through April 8. They usually break the event up into two separate two-week waves, so we expect additional deals to drop April 9 - 22.
The $2 bags of mulch are one of the best Lowe's deals we see during SpringFest, and they're back again in warmer regions like the South. The $2 bags of soil and deals on annuals and perennials are also noteworthy. And if you're doing any hardscaping, don't sleep on the pavers — they're just 4 for $1 from March 26 - 30 only, so that's a deal you'll want to grab early. You'll even find discounts beyond the Garden Center, like savings on grills and deals on top tools.

Best Lowe's SpringFest Deals Starting March 26
Many of these deals are valid through April 8 (except for the pavers, which end March 30).
Lowe's SpringFest is an annual garden sale that famously includes $2 bags of mulch.
We consider Lowe's SpringFest a sort of Spring Black Friday, with deals on everything you need to get your garden ready for the season. Get $2 bags of mulch, $2 bags of soil, plus best-of-the-year discounts on plants and tools, and the $0.25 pavers.
Historically, the sale ran in April alongside the Home Depot Spring Sale, but in 2025 Lowe's surprised us by launching early — and in 2026 they're doing it again, starting March 26. At this point, it's looking like the earlier March start is the new normal for SpringFest.

According to the Lowe's weekly ad sneak peek posted on March 25, this year's SpringFest sale kicks off on Thursday, March 26, 2026, with select deals valid through March 30, and additional deals continuing until April 8.
Ways to Hack Lowe's SpringFest Sale
Shop for mulch at Lowe's instead of Home Depot to save $0.33 per cubic foot.
Lowe's spring sale notoriously has the best mulch deals you'll find all year. And their popular 5 for $10 deal on 2-cubic-foot bags of Premium Wood Mulch is again in 2026. That's a $1 cost per cubic foot, which is tough to beat, considering all the best mulch sales we track during the year.
For example, Home Depot's Spring Black Friday Sale typically offers the same 5 for $10 deal, but it's for 1.5-cubic foot bags of mulch. That gives you a $1.33 cost per cubic foot. So you'll save $16.50 on 50 bags of mulch if you shop at Lowe's instead.
KCL TIP: Always calculate the cost per cubic foot when comparing mulch prices ( the price of the bag divided by its size in cubic feet). Different brands come in different sizes, and this calculation will help you compare costs across brands.

Lowe's has been emphasizing their MyLowe's Rewards loyalty program more and more ever since it launched in January 2024. With the SpringFest sale, they have a handful of deals that are only available to rewards members. You can sign up for a MyLowe's Rewards membership online.
During the first round of deals, the member-exclusive deals include 27-gallon storage totes for $7.98 (regularly $9.98), storage tote shelving unit for $79.98 (regularly $104.98), 25% off Roku, 10% off Arlo, and over $150 savings on washer and dryers.

Remember that some Garden Center deals are only available regionally.
If you live in a cooler climate, you'll likely see a different mix of deals available at the Garden Center during Lowe's SpringFest. For example, I live in the South and saw the $2 mulch deal in my weekly ad as early as March 19, while my colleagues in the Midwest didn't.
Your region will also determine which annuals and perennials will be in stock during the SpringFest sale.
