If you’re a Sam’s Club member looking for an easy and cheap dinner idea this week: we’ve got good news for you. Ever since March 6, 2023, Sam’s Club members are able order their Member’s Mark Rotisserie Chicken via curbside pickup for $4.98. This means you can avoid the whole shopping trip, stay in the comfort of your car, and pick up your dinner for less than $5 if you’re a Plus-level member.
Here’s how to order the rotisserie chicken at Sam’s Club for curbside pickup — and how much you’ll pay for this convenience if you have the Basic membership instead of Plus.

1. Sam’s Club members can pick up their $4.98 rotisserie chicken as a curbside order.
The Member’s Mark rotisserie chicken is only available as a curbside order from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. at your local Sam’s Club. If you’re a Plus member, curbside pickup is free. For Club members, you’ll pay a $4 fee for each curbside pickup order.
Here’s how to use curbside pickup at Sam’s Club:
- Add items to your shopping list in the Sam’s Club app (iOS / Android).
- Choose your pickup date and time.
- Head to the store once you get a notification that your order is ready.
- Park in a Curbside Pickup spot when you arrive.
- Check-in through the app.
2. You need a membership to place an order for curbside pickup.
Unfortunately, you can no longer use a Sam’s Club Guest Membership to make in-store purchases, per their guest policy. You can get a Guest Membership to shop online from Sam’s Club, but just know that you’ll be charged a 10% service fee, and you won’t have access to curbside pickup. Which means no chicken for you, since their rotisserie chicken isn’t available for shipping.
If you know someone who’s a Plus member (and they’re willing to share their membership perks with you), ask if they can place the order on your behalf. They’ll just need to enter your name, email address, and phone number at checkout with the app’s “Additional Pickup Person” feature.
Once you get to the store, you’ll have to go inside to the Member Services desk to pick up your order.

3. They limit you to a maximum of 10 chickens per order.
Probably for good reason. But the limit is per order, not per membership, so you could always create multiple orders back-to-back if you’re stocking up.
TIP: Some items at Sam’s Club have a per-membership limit, like the Prime Hydration Drink Variety Pack, which has a “Max 5 per membership” note on the product page.
4. Sam’s Club rotisserie chicken ties with Costco’s for lowest price per pound.
If you’re strictly looking at price per pound, Sam’s Club rotisserie chicken is right up there with Costco’s for the best value.

6. Costco’s rotisserie chicken doesn’t have a curbside option.
If you’re a Costco member, you’re out of luck on curbside chicken. Right now, you can only get your $4.99 rotisserie chicken in the warehouse, and you can’t order ahead.
You can place an order through SameDay.Costco.com for delivery by Instacart, but know that you’ll pay an inflated price of $5.84 for the chicken — and have a $35 order minimum.
