Walgreens Curbside Tips to Remember
1. There's a $10 minimum for Walgreens curbside pickup orders.
Walgreens requires your shopping cart total to be at least $10 in order to get curbside pickup. The good part is they calculate the $10 before digital coupons are applied.
2. Be careful using Walgreens Cash on curbside orders, since it'll lower your total towards earning rewards.
Be careful when using Walgreens Cash with spend boosters. If you have a booster like $7 Walgreens Cash when you spend $35, you need to actually spend $35 out of pocket — Walgreens Cash doesn’t count toward that.
So let’s say your total is $35 and you use $5 in Walgreens Cash to pay. Now you’ve only spent $30, and you won’t get that $7 reward. To earn the booster, skip redeeming Walgreens Cash on that transaction and pay the full amount instead.
3. Place your order at least an hour before store closing to receive it the same day.
Walgreens Curbside pickup is available from 9 a.m. - 9 p.m. every day. Orders need to be placed at least an hour before closing; otherwise, they'll be ready the next day.
4. Orders can be ready in as little as 30 minutes.
Although it's not guaranteed, Walgreens says you may be able to pick up your order in as little as 30 minutes. I say give it an hour, and your order will most likely be ready.
5. Link your myWalgreens rewards to your Walgreens account for in-store promos, offers, and Walgreens Cash.
Before you place an order for curbside pickup, be sure to link your myWalgreens account to your Walgreens account so you can get in-store promotions and offers. You can also earn and use myWalgreens Cash on pickup orders. If you don't have a Walgreens account, sign up to enjoy the extra perks.
