Active-duty military and veterans, thank you for your service! Do you know about all the retailers and services who say “thank you” with military discounts? If not, you need this list.

Before diving in, keep in mind that both online and in-store discounts will require a valid Military ID. For internet purchases, some sites use ID.me or SheerID to verify your eligibility, while others have their own built-in checkout process.

Oh, and if you’re ever unsure whether you can get a discount, just ask. Many stores won’t include it in the fine print, but if you ask, they might help you out.

  • Bonefish Grill: Service men and women, plus first responders save 10% off their Bonefish Grill order.

  • Buffalo Wild Wings: Look for a military discount of 10-15%, depending on your Buffalo Wild Wings location.

  • California Pizza Kitchen: Veterans and active-duty military personnel can enjoy a complimentary entree and beverage from a select menu at California Pizza Kitchen on Veterans Day.

  • Carrabba's Italian Grill: All service members enjoy a 10% discount at Carrabba's.

  • Chick-fil-A: Look for a 10% military discount at Chick-fil-A locations.

  • Chili’s: Each year, Chili's serves a free select menu for veterans and active-duty service members on Veterans Day.

  • Chuck E. Cheese: Military personnel can enjoy a military discount on Chuck E. Cheese food, beverages, and play.

  • Cici’s Pizza: Veterans and active-duty military personnel can anticipate a free adult buffet at Cici's Pizza on Veterans Day.

  • Cracker Barrel: Cracker Barrel offers rewards members who are active-duty, retired, veteran, and reserve members a 10% discount.

  • Dave & Buster’s: Service members get 15% off the Dave & Buster's food and drinks with valid military ID.

  • Denny’s: Look for a 10% discount at Denny's. They're also known to give military members a free Build Your Own Grand Slam on Veterans Day.

  • Dunkin: Each year for Veterans Day, Dunkin' honors active and retired military with a free donut.

  • El Pollo Loco: Military personnel and first responders can get 15% off (but no more than $1.50 off) at El Pollo Loco when you show valid ID.

  • Famous Dave’s: On Veterans Day, all former and current military receive a free Famous Dave's meal.

  • Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers: Watch for Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers to give away free combo meal comp cards to veterans and current military that could be used in November.

  • Green Mill Restaurant & Bar: Whenever active-duty and veterans dine in at Green Mill you'll receive 10% off.

  • Medieval Times: The dinner theater Medieval Times offers discounted ticket prices for all military personnel and their families.

  • lululemon: Enjoy an exclusive every day 15% discount at lululemon stores and online.

  • Nike: US military personnel, active, veteran, retired (spouses and dependents) get a 10% discount online, in-app, and in Nike retail stores.

  • Rack Room Shoes: Save with a 10% military discount at Rack Room Shoes on Tuesdays — and 20% off on Memorial Day, Independence Day, and Veterans Day.

  • Hello Bello: Plant-based baby product company Hello Bello offers a 15% military discount on all subscription orders.

  • Home Depot: Save 10% off on Home Depot select items with ID in-store or online once you’re verified with SheerID. You’re limited to $400 in savings in a calendar year.

  • JCPenney Portraits: Through Dec. 31, 2026, JCPenney Portraits is offering special military discount pricing. You must present the coupon at the session — print it here — and the promo code is PC1819366. Here are the military offers.

  • Kohl's: On Mondays every week, veterans, active duty members, retirees, and their immediate family members get a 15% in-store discount at Kohl’s. This discount doesn't stack with other percent-off or age-specific discounts.

  • Lowe’s: Current military personnel, veterans, and spouses can get 10% off most full-priced items at Lowe's in-store and online.

  • Oakley Standard Issue: Oakley Standard Issue offers military personnel and first responders exclusive access to products unavailable to “civilians.” They offer 30-70% off their products and a 15% discount once your status is approved.

  • Target: Each year around Veterans Day and Fourth of July, Target offers a 10% discount on two purchases (all in-basket items, online and in-store).

  • Tirebuyer: Save 10% on tires when you shop at Tirebuyer.com.

  • Walgreens: Veterans, active military, or military family members get a 20% off all Walgreens in-store purchases around Memorial Day, Fourth of July, and Veteran’s Day.

  • Yeti: All verified veterans, military members, and first responders get special pricing for select Yeti gear via the ID.me program.

  • Academy Sport+Outdoors: Although Academy Sports+Outdoors doesn't offer a year-round military discount, they have a 10% online and in-store discount from time to time. Keep an eye on their military page to see their discounts.

Electronics and Technology

  • Apple: Military personnel and their families can get 10% off select Apple items.

  • AT&T: Save up to 20% on most AT&T unlimited plans.

  • Dell: Verified active-duty military members, veterans, and retirees are eligible for a 10% military discount on PCs and electronics at Dell.com.

  • Hewlett Packard (HP): Military personnel save up to 60% off products with free shipping on Hewlett Packard (HP) orders.

  • Microsoft: Subscribe to Microsoft 365 Family for $99.99/yr (30% off) for military personnel and their families.

  • Samsung: Military service members can save up to 30% off Samsung products and plans.

  • T-Mobile: Save up to $25 per month on T-Mobile family plans.

  • Verizon: Active service members and veterans can take advantage of various Verizon discounts on monthly wireless service.

Membership and Subscriptions

  • BJ's Wholesale Club: Join BJ's Wholesale Club for $50 (reg. $120), get a $20 reward. Requires ID.me verification.

  • Costco: Active-duty military or veterans who verify their eligibility through SheerID.com and sign up for a new Costco Executive membership will receive a $40 Costco Shop Card, or $20 for a new Gold Star membership.

  • Sam’s Club: Verify your military status through ID.me and signup for a new Sam's Club membership to get 60% off a new membership and only have to pay $20 for your first year.

Travel and Entertainment

Note, most military bases offer exclusive discounted tickets to theme parks and other events available at MWR or ITT recreation offices. Contact your closest military base to learn more.

  • Alamo: Get special Alamo car rental rates for active duty and retired members of the military.

  • Alaska Airlines: Enjoy several benefits for military personnel when you fly Alaska Airlines. Some perks include:

    • Book special priced military fares

    • Check five bags for free

    • 5% off flights for Veterans Advantage members

    • Priority boarding for active service members

    • 15% off snacks for military and their family

  • Allegiant Airlines: With the Allegiant Airlines Honors program, active-duty members and veterans get up to two checked bags for free, no fee on oversized luggage, plus other perks.

  • American Airlines: In 2026, American Airlines offers military discounts to active military personnel and their families, access to preferred seating, and preferential boarding privileges. Call American at (800) 433-7300 for more information.

  • AMC Theatres: These AMC Theatres locations offer military discounts all year long.

  • Amtrak: Active-duty US military personnel, their spouses, and their dependents get 10% off the lowest available rail fare on most Amtrak trains, including for travel on the Auto Train.

  • Avis and Budget: Save up to 35% off PAY NOW rates on Avis and Budget rental cars when you enroll in the WeSalute+ program.

  • Busch Gardens: Active military members and three (direct) dependents receive one free admission per year to Busch Gardens, SeaWorld, or Sesame Place Philadelphia. You can also purchase (online only) up to six discounted guest tickets to Busch Gardens.

  • Caesars: Verified military members get a year-round discount of up to 15% off the lowest rate at Caesars Hotels. You must also be a Caesars Rewards member for this military benefit.

  • Choice Hotels: Active military personnel, veterans and their families receive discounted hotel rates at Choice Hotels.

  • Cinemark Movie Theaters: You'll need to bring a valid military ID to Cinemark Movie Theatres to get a discount when buying your ticket. Note this varies by location.

  • Delta Airlines: Flying Delta Airlines will get military members “recognition and savings not available to civilian customers” as well as three free bags. You have to message them at Delta.com or call (800) 221-1212 to get the deals; online reservations won’t work.

  • Dollar, Enterprise and Thrifty: Save 5% off your car rentals. Dollar and Thrifty require membership in the WeSalute program. You don't need to belong to any military-related association for a military discount at Enterprise.

  • Frontier Airlines: Military members get one free personal item, one free carry-on and two free checked bags with military ID when flying Frontier Airlines.

  • Greyhound: Active-duty and retired military personnel and their dependent family members who are WeSalute+ members can receive a year round 10% off Greyhound Bus travel.

  • Hertz Rental Car: USAA Perks members can get discounted rates (up to 35% off) at Hertz Rental Car and a complimentary membership in Hertz Gold Plus Rewards.

  • Hilton: Save when booking a stay at Hilton when you use their Military Family rate available on their website. You'll need valid military ID at check in.

  • Hyatt: Veterans and active-duty military members receive 10 - 15% off the standard rate. You must enter promo code MILVET during online checkout when booking a Hyatt stay to qualify for this military discount.

  • JetBlue Airlines: Get a 5% discount on JetBlue Airlines base fare for active-duty members who are traveling for leisure. WeSalute+ members get a 5% discount, two free checked bags, and no blackout dates.

  • Knott’s Berry Farm: If you're an active/retired/veteran U.S. military member, you and one guest can visit Knott's Berry Farm for free during their Military Tribute Days (around Veteran’s Day).

  • KOA Campgrounds: To get a military discount on the regular price at select KOA Campgrounds locations you'll need to call (307) 250-8098 and reference promo code MI.

  • Legoland: Veterans, active, non-active military and military families special deals on Legoland admission and 10% off lodging at the Legoland Hotels.

  • Red Roof Inn: Save 10% year round at Red Roof Inn with their military discount. To book, you need to call (800) 733-7663 and mention promo code 606732. WeSalute members can save 15% at all Red Roof Inn locations.

  • Regal Theatres: Active and military and veterans can enjoy a military discount at Regal Theatres when you purchase your tickets at the box office and provide valid military ID.

  • SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment: Enjoy a free single-day pass (per year) for any active-duty, activated or drilling reservist, or National Guardsman at SeaWorld Parks. Up to three direct dependents of military personnel also get free admission.

  • Six Flags: Active and retired military members can enjoy a discount on one-day general admission tickets available at Six Flags Guest Services Center. You can purchase up to six discounted tickets for family and friends.

  • Southwest: When flying Southwest Airlines, active military personnel and their families receive a year round 10% discount when you contact Southwest directly at (800) 435-9792 or visit a Southwest ticket counter.

  • Spirit: Active-duty U.S. military personnel get two free checked bags and a free carry-on, besides the standard free personal item when you book a flight on Spirit Airlines.

  • United Airlines: Save year round with a 5% discount on all United Airlines fares (except Basic Economy and promotional fares). You just need to be enrolled in their free MileagePlus program.

  • United Parks: Through the Waves of Honor program, active-duty military personnel and veterans can save on admission tickets at several United Parks, including Busch Gardens, SeaWorld, Sesame Place, Aquatica, and Discovery Cove.

  • Universal Studios Hollywood: Verified active-duty, retirees, and veterans save $4 on a Universal Studios Hollywood general admission ticket. You can also enjoy a $4 discount on a Universal Express ticket that'll let you skip the regular line, and $20 off a California Neighborhood Pass or Silver Annual Pass. Offers are valid online.

  • Vet Tix: As a non-profit organization, Vet Tix collects donated event tickets (concerts, sporting events, etc.) they then offer to service members and veterans. The tickets are free. However, you'll have to pay a delivery fee (around $15 a transaction).

  • Walt Disney World: Enjoy special military-only discounts on Walt Disney World 4-Day, 5-Day, and 6-Day tickets and up to 30% on resort hotels.

Banking

  • Chase Bank: Checking accounts for current service members and veterans at Chase Bank don't have a monthly maintenance fee or require a minimum balance.

  • First Citizens Bank: Active-duty military personnel, full-time National Reserve members, and full-time National Guard members can get a checking account at First Citizens Bank with no minimum balance (with a monthly direct deposit), no monthly maintenance fee.

  • US Bank: Checking accounts for current and former members of the U.S. Armed Forces require no minimum balance and no monthly maintenance fee at US Bank.

  • Wells Fargo: With Worldwide Military Banking, you won't have charges for cash withdrawals at non-Wells Fargo ATMs stateside and internationally.

  • Zions Bank: Current service members and their dependents and veterans of the U.S. Armed Forces can get a Zions Bank checking account with no minimum balance and no monthly maintenance fee.
