Instead of: Butter London's Trout Pout is an amazingly creamy cantaloupe-colored nail polish. It glides on smoothly and is opaque after two or three coats. Although I do have to admit, the first coat is pretty streaky. I love this color, but I don't love the price. $15 for a nail polish is pretty expensive—especially for a Krazy Couponer like me!
Try: Lucky for me (and you) I discovered Island Coral while I was perusing a Sinful Colors nail polish display at Walgreens. The color is almost identical to Trout Pout, but the Sinful Colors version is only $1.99! Like Trout Pout, the formula is a bit streaky and it takes at least two coats before Island Coral is opaque. I think I actually prefer Island Coral over Trout Pout. Island Coral lasts longer on my nails, and I'm usually chip-free for about 10 days! If you don't want to buy online, check your local Walgreens to see if Island Coral is in stock. They often have Sinful Colors polishes on sale for only $.99.
