Several Airlines are offering travelers a New Year’s present with airfares that start at just $32 each way. Among the airlines participating in this airfare sale are JetBlue Airways, Virgin America and AirTran Airways. Most of these fares must be booked and paid for no later than January 2, 2012 and are valid for travel January 4 to May 16, 2012. Tickets are non-refundable once purchased. Just a few examples of cities and fares for this sale are:

  • Chicago to Boston – $38
  • Dallas to Chicago – $48
  • Indianapolis to Atlanta – $59
  • Kansas City to Denver – $59
  • Minneapolis to Milwaukee – $59
  • Austin, TX to Ft. Lauderdale – $79
  • Chicago to Los Angeles – $99

New York City-based JetBlue Airways has mini-hubs in Orlando, Ft Lauderdale, Long Beach and Boston. Virgin America, the US subsidiary of Britain’s Virgin Atlantic Airways, flys to 14 cities in the United States, including Boston, Dallas, Chicago, Palm Springs, Las Vegas and San Francisco. AirTran, based in Orlando, operates more than 700 daily flights, with mini-hubs in Baltimore, Atlanta, Milwaukee and Orlando.
