How to find online, retail, and grocery coupon deals with the Krazy Coupon Lady app
When you open the Krazy Coupon Lady app, you’ll be on the “Deals” page, and you’ll see a gray navigation bar at the top with different categories listed. If you know what type of deal you’re looking for, go ahead and tap that category.
For example, maybe you need a laundry detergent deal. Tap “Grocery” since it’s an item you can find at a grocery or drugstore. Sometimes there’s overlap in categories, so you’d want to check a few categories. (Laundry detergent deals can be found under “Online Deals” too.)
Here’s what each category means:
- My Deals: Stores you chose as a favorite (see next tip)
- Home & Garden: Any deal in these categories, usually at retail stores
- Grocery: Anything you can find at a grocery or drugstore
- Online Deals: Any deal that doesn’t require you to go into a store
- Freebies: Items you can get for free with coupons
- Our Picks: Deals we highly recommend
- Coupons: Every coupon currently available
- Tips: Longer articles to help you learn how to coupon, how to save at certain stores, and more
How to “favorite” stores
The best way to organize deals you see in your KCL app “My Deals” feed is to choose a few stores as your “favorites.” This way, you’ll see deals from the stores you want to coupon at right when you open the KCL app.
Along the bottom of the app, Tap “Stores,” and then tap hearts to select your favorite retailers.

How to save deals and coupons to “My Lists”
Use “My Lists” to organize all your deals, coupons, and Tips articles! Here’s how: along the bottom of the KCL app, you’ll see “My Lists.” This is where these items go when you “favorite” them. When you “favorite” a store, it’ll show up under your “My Deals” feed.
How do you add to your lists? Tap the little bookmark icon in the top right corner of a deal or article. For coupons, when you tap the checkmark, it’ll show up in your “My Lists.”
Important! If you want to save the actual deal, not the deal post, scroll down to the deal scenario box and tap “”Save Deal to My Lists.” If you just tap the upper right bookmark icon, the entire deal post will go to your “Saved Tips and Articles.” It’s not a bad thing, but I wanted to make you aware.
How to set up deal alerts from The Krazy Coupon Lady
Life is too busy to keep refreshing your deals feed! Set deal alerts instead. You’ll never miss a hot deal again. Deal alerts are especially useful if you know you have a purchase coming up — like if your stockpile of shampoo is getting low and you want to buy more when it reaches a hot price.
Along the bottom of the KCL app, you’ll see “Alerts.” Tap it and then tap “Update Notification Settings.” First, turn on push notifications so alerts can reach you.
After that, it’s a choose-your-own-adventure. What do you want to be the first to know about? You can select alerts based on types of deals (Hottest, Freebies, etc.), brand (Apple, Pampers, etc.), or category (toilet paper, cereal, etc.).
I recommend setting deal alerts for household items and brands to start with. We see a lot of deals for these, and you can usually save tons of money with coupons.
TIP: In order to set up deal alerts, you’ll need to enable push notifications for the KCL app inside your phone. If you don’t have these enabled, the KCL app will give you a little nudge to go do it.
How to Brag about your savings
Don’t forget to Brag after your couponing hauls! The KCL app has a spot dedicated to just that.
At the bottom of the app, over on the far right is “Brags.” Tap that and then tap “Submit a Brag” at the top. The very best Brags include pictures and all the juicy details. We want to know which deal you did, where, and how much cash you saved.
Nothing motivates other couponers like seeing how much one of us saved! Plus, Brags give you a chance to see what deals the couponers in your community are getting. KCL covers major retailers, but we all know there are those local stores that offer great deals too. Comb through Brags to find unadvertised deals and regional-store savings.
