Our team of money-saving experts have put together the ULTIMATE holiday shopping tips to get the best deals for the cheapest price. Here’s a play-by-play:

1. Enable real-time deal alerts on your favorite products with the free KCL app.

On almost every KCL deal post, you’ll see a switch to turn on or turn off push notification alerts for that product type or brand — like Hatchimals or LOL Surprise. Now as soon as WE know about a deal, YOU’LL know about it.

You can always customize your push alerts within the Notifications settings. Don’t see push alerts in your KCL app? Make sure you have the latest version.

Set up push alerts in your KCL app now.

2. There’s no reason to pay for shipping.

In early November, Amazon announced free shipping for all — not just Prime members — this holiday season. Which means you can buy anything — and I mean anything (no minimum dollar amount) — and get free shipping. Just look for the “free shipping” messaging on a product’s page, and expect your item to be delivered within 5-8 days.

In response to Amazon’s free shipping deal, Target and Best Buy are also offering free shipping with no minimum for a limited time. At Target, get free 2-day shopping and returns with no minimum.

Walmart also offers free shipping with a minimum $35 purchase.

3. Do your Black Friday shopping online.

Get this: you can find almost all Black Friday deals earlier online. This year, Walmart’s in-store sales don’t start until 6PM Thanksgiving. Their online deals, though, go live at 10PM EST Wednesday night.

Same goes at Target. At Target, in-store sales start 5PM Thanksgiving, but you can access them online at 1AM EST that morning.

At Kohl’s, you can actually start shopping the Monday before Black Friday at 1:01AM EST online at Kohls.com. In-store sales start at 5PM on Thanksgiving.

Only brave the crowds if a store has in-store-only doorbusters you can’t get online.

4. Stock up on cheap small kitchen appliances.

During the holidays we see huge discounts on small kitchen appliances. For instance, when you stack coupon codes during a Kohl’s Cash period and use a mail-in rebate, you can score Hamilton Beach small appliances for $6.69!

Find cheap and even free small appliances at Macy’s and JCPenney as well. This year, you can find $7.99 appliances after mail-in rebates. Stock up when you see deals like these, and use your small-kitchen-appliance stockpile for birthday, graduation and wedding gifts throughout the year.

5. Expect toy and electronic discounts to spike on December 14th.

For all you last-minute shoppers, there’s hope! December 14th is Free Shipping Day — a.k.a. the last day you can order something with a guarantee that it will arrive by Christmas.

Hundreds of retailers discount toys and electronics on this day. Last year we saw the deepest discount on the Amazon Echo Show: normally $230, it was only $150 last Free Shipping Day.

Also in 2017, Target had a GREAT deal on toys and games: Spend $50, save $10… spend $100, save $25. Plus, leading up to Christmas, you can find Target Cartwheel offers for toys every day in December.
