Panera Bread has made some big moves during quarantine, from free coffee to paying for your wifi, and now they’ve added pizza to the menu.

If you’re in the mood for some cheesy flatbread, you can have it delivered, pick it up in the drive-through window, or get it at the restaurant.

Here’s what you need to know:

Panera has 3 kinds of flatbreads, $8 – $9 each.

At all locations nationwide starting Oct. 28, Panera is offering three different flatbread pizzas: cheese ($7.99), Margherita ($8.99), and chipotle chicken and bacon ($8.99).

Each flatbread is sliced into 6 pieces, which could easily feed 2 people.

Want to try it for almost free? Here’s what you do. . .

While there are no freebies for the new flatbreads per se, you can create your own deal. Here’s how:

  • First, you’ll buy a discounted Panera gift card at Raise. I was able to get two $10 gift cards for just $8.65 each (saved $2.70).
  • Then, place an order on the Panera Bread website or app (or in person) of at least $20 — with the flatbread, of course.
  • Use the promo code LUNCHBREAK on the app or online (or just tell the cashier) to get $5 off your order.
  • Pay with your discounted gift cards. You’ve saved $7.70, which makes the $7.99 flatbread nearly free.

Panera is also still offering free coffee for 30 days.

You might have missed out on the summer of free coffee, but you can still get a month of unlimited coffee from Panera through their MyPanera Coffee Subscription when you sign up. You can cancel before the month runs out, and by then you’ll be highly caffeinated.

Don’t forget about the free Pastry or Sweet when you sign up for MyPanera.

You’ll get a free Pastry or Sweet after confirming your email address for your new Panera Rewards account. Then track how many visits it’ll take to get your next freebie (like coffee) by checking Panera’s app, and be sure to add your birth date to receive a free birthday treat.
