Let’s face it, gaming can be pricey. That’s why we were excited for October Prime Dayvideo game deals, and they didn’t disappoint. Amazon Prime Big Deal Day lasted Oct. 10 to Oct. 11 with deals starting and ending at 3 a.m. ET.

If you had your eye on an Xbox, PlayStation, or Nintendo Switch video game, this was the time to save big. Normally high-budget video games cost $59.99 to $69.99 each. One of the biggest discounts was The Just Dance game. It was discounted 76%, making it just $14 (compared to $59.99).

For the July 2024 Prime Day sale, we’re anticipating discounts on gaming controllers, PlayStation, Nintendo Switch and Xbox games, and gaming headsets. We predict that sale to happen on July 9 and 10, 2024.

When it comes to the shopping event battle royale that is Prime Day and its competitors, we couldn’t leave out Walmart’s Deals for Days (now called Walmart+ Week). The sale tries to get the jump on Prime Day by starting a day earlier and ending a day later. Walmart+ Week was back Monday, Oct. 9 at 7 p.m. ET, through Oct. 12.
