The Cabela’s and Bass Pro Easter Bunny will arrive on Saturday, April 5, but he won't be there every day.

Bass Pro has officially announced the 2025 schedule for the Easter Bunny, and the same schedule goes for Cabela's too. The photo sessions start two weekends before Easter (Saturday and Sunday, April 5 - 6) and then pick back up April 12:
Saturday, April 5: 5 p.m. - 8 p.m.
Sunday, April 6: 11 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Saturday, April 12: 5 p.m. - 8 p.m.
Sunday, April 13: 11 a.m. - 4 p.m.
April 14 - 10: 5 p.m. - 8 p.m.
Easter Sunday, April 20: 11 a.m. - 3 p.m.
You don't need a reservation, but you can avoid a long wait by reserving a time in advance — reservations open March 29.

Just like with free Santa photos, the free Easter photos are always a big hit, which means big crowds, especially if you show up on a weekend day. To cut down on your wait time, book an appointment in advance on the Bass Pro's or Cabela’s website, and try to visit on a weekday if you can, when crowds are lighter. Reservations open on March 29 (but remember that the free photo opportunity won't start until April 5).
Time slots open up a week in advance. You can only make one reservation per family, but your “family” can include up to eight people in a photo. Reservations for Cabela’s Easter Bunny photo sessions tend to fill up fast, but if you don’t get one, don’t worry. Cabela’s will accept walk-ins, and you can avoid long lines by showing up as soon as the sessions start.
KCL TIP: If you aren’t able to get a reservation, we’ve found it’s not always completely necessary. Most folks are funneled into two general lines between those with reservations and general walk-ins, and both lines move pretty steadily.
You’ll get a free printed 4×6 photo with the Easter Bunny, plus freebies for the kids.
Every family will receive a free 4×6 photo print to take home (remember — you can squeeze up to eight people in a photo), and kids get a free Easter egg while supplies last.
Other offerings and activities may vary from store to store. Many stores will have some unique toys for kids to try out, usually in a designated booth or play area. During past events, we’ve seen Bass Pro Shops set up toy crossbows, Lincoln Logs, and some toy guns in a free shooting gallery.
KCL TIP: If you visit the Bass Pro Shop Easter Bunny on a Saturday, stick around for the free fish feeding that happens at noon.
Additional photo prints (or the digital file) will cost you $15 – $25.
If you’d like more copies of your sit-down with the Easter Bunny than just the free 4×6, you can purchase additional copies to share. These will get printed out for you while you wait.
While each family gets a free 4×6 photo print to take home at the end of the visit, any additional prints or packages will cost extra. Here are the confirmed prices and offerings for 2025:
Digital image: $15
Basket Package (one 5×7 print and four wallet-sized prints): $15
Jellybean Package (one 6×8, two 5×7 prints, two 4×6 prints, four wallet-sized prints, and a digital copy): $25
Bring your pup along for Easter Bunny photos — nearly all Bass Pro Shops and Cabela's stores are pet-friendly.

Bass Pro Shops and Cabela's welcome both service animals and pets year-round in all stores, except where local laws or shopping centers prohibit it. So if your cat or dog is comfortable posing with an oversized bunny, bring them in for a photo too.
As of this writing, there are only a handful of Bass Pro Shops locations that don’t allow pets. Here are a few:
Dania Beach, Florida
Manteca, California
Mesa, Arizona
Spanish Fort, Alabama
