Summer is here! School is out and the kids are home – meaning you desperately need a few activities to keep them busy. Try making these colored pasta beads. They’re cheap and fun – what more could you ask for? Use them to help kids with their sorting skills, for craft projects or to make jewelry!
- Any type of pasta
- Food coloring
- Rubbing alcohol
- Ziplock bag
- Cookie sheet
- Put 2 tablespoons of rubbing alcohol and 2-3 drops of food coloring into a plastic bag.
- Add one cup of pasta to the bag and mix until coated.
- Pour onto foil lined cookie sheet and let dry for a few hours.
- Use for jewelry, art projects, sorting and more!
