My kindergartener changes her mind frequently—one day she's into soccer, the next month it's softball or gymnastics. All of the sports equipment (and the sports accessories) can get expensive! Luckily I found DICK's Sporting Goods' ScoreCard program. Not only do I save tons of money every year in the store, I get rewarded every time I shop there!

How to sign up

Head to your local DICK's Sporting Goods store to sign up for the ScoreCard Program. Or if you prefer, you can sign up online. As a busy, multi-tasking mom, I prefer the online method. Once you sign up on the website, a rewards card will be mailed to you within 14 days.

How to earn rewards

Flash your ScoreCard every time that you shop at DICK's Sporting Goods and you'll earn one point for every $1 that you spend in-store. You can also earn points by shopping on DicksSportingGoods.com—just make sure that you’re signed in to your online account. There are lots of ways to earn bonus points too: you'll find bonus points offers in your email, when you “like” DICK's Sporting Goods on Facebook, if you follow DICK's on Twitter or when you download and log in to the DICK's Sporting Goods app. For every 300 points that you earn, you'll score a $10 Reward!

How to keep track of your rewards

Sign in to your DICK's Sporting Goods account online. Under the "My Points Summary" tab you can view your point balance, see any available rewards, and check how many points are needed for your next $10 certificate. You can also view prior purchases and see how many points you received for each purchase.

Using your rewards

You can choose to receive your reward via mail (your rewards certificate will come within 50 days). If you want to receive your reward faster, you can have your reward emailed to you (it will show up in your inbox within 30 days.) As soon as it’s available you can also choose to print it by logging in to your online store account (this is my favorite method). Once you’ve received your reward, you can spend it like cash on anything in the store. As always, pay attention to the expiration date shown on your reward certificate. DICK's Sporting Goods will not let you pay with expired rewards. Trust me–I already asked.
