Ready to find some UGG deals? We’ll show you how to score your favorite UGG boots and slippers on sale.
The price of UGGs can range from $60 to $315 and beyond, but we’ll lower your expected payout for these fashion faves.
Whether you’re a longtime UGG super-fan or trying to get your first pair, we’ll tell you where to shop, when to shop, and what kind of savings you can expect to get.
(Unless you’re looking for UGGs for dogs. We can’t help you there.)
1. First, the bad news: Brand-new UGGs pretty much cost the same everywhere.
And here’s why: UGG controls the price retailers can advertise. That’s why you’ll see basically the same prices for a particular model across all retailers.
You’ll only see discount prices on discontinued models and colors, or on models that UGG has removed from their list of price-controlled products.
Clearance is the key to finding affordable UGGs, my friends. Clearance.
2. Now the good news: Krazy Coupon Lady has a steady stream of UGG deals.
We’re constantly looking for new UGG deals, and when we find them, we post them right to our dedicated KCL UGG deals page! You can even download the KCL app and set up notifications for any time we post new UGG sales.
Sit back and let us do all the hard work for you. Here is a recent deal we posted:
3. Generally speaking, Zappos is going to be the best place to buy UGG.
Amazon-owned shoe store Zappos consistently has the biggest selection of UGG sale items, and although other retailers come close, they consistently win — if even by 5 cents. (And standard shipping is free; no minimum order!)
Zappos sells a massive number of discontinued UGG boots, slippers, sneakers, and sandals. You’ll save an average of 30% on MSRP, but we’ve seen discounts as high as 53%!
- UGG Lorna Boot (reg. $190.00): $132.99 at UGG. . . $94.97 at Zappos (28.5% cheaper)
- UGG Mini Bailey Bow II Boot (reg. $160.00): $160.00 at UGG. . . $109.97 at Zappos (31% cheaper)
- UGG Dakota Slipper (reg $100.00): $100 at UGG. . . $69.95 at Zappos (40% cheaper)
- UGG Greda Boot (reg $150.00): $104.99 at UGG. . . $100.19 at Zappos (4.5% cheaper)
Zappos has free shipping and free 365-day returns. Sizes are typically limited, so items sell out fairly quickly.
4. Koolaburra boots by UGG are a great under-$100 entry point.
Koolaburra boots and slippers cost between $40-$100 and use entirely man-made materials. So while they’re cheaper than the standard suede-and-shearling UGG boots, the quality of craftsmanship is the same.
Here are the best Koolaburra prices we could find:
- Boots: Koola Short, $64.95 at Zappos and Koolaburra (reg. $89.99)
- Slippers: Lezly, $44.95 at Zappos, Koolaburra, and Nordstrom Rack (reg. $59.99)
Koolaburra had a stellar Black Friday sale in 2019 and 2020: a week-long 25% off site-wide sale. So it’s a good bet we’ll see that again this year!
5. Use your Kohl’s Cash when Kohl’s has sales on Koolaburra.
Because, like with so many other products, Kohl’s Cash makes all the difference in getting the best price.
We saw the Koolaburra Classic Short Women’s Winter Boot on sale for $67.49 (reg. $89.99) at Kohl’s. Add in the $10 in Kohl’s Cash you’ll get, and the final price is as little as $57.49 — 36% off. If only they sold regular UGGs, too.
6. Get up to 75% off UGG boots during Nordstrom Rack’s “Clear the Rack” sales.
Nordstrom Rack holds Clear the Rack sales at various times throughout the year, and during these three-day sales, we’ve seen big discounts on UGG boots — up to 75% off!
The rest of the time, you’ll find UGG boots at Nordstrom Rack for between 25 and 60% off. And we can help you knock even more off the final price with our Nordstrom Rack sale hacks.
7. Save up to 60% when you shop online clearance at the UGG Closet.
But a few magical times per year, UGG opens up the UGG Closet — an online pop-up clearance shop. The newest products are discounted up to 30%, and other products — like bedding, home decor, clothing, and shoes — are discounted up to 60%.
We last saw the UGG Closet open in July and September 2021, and based on past years, we expect a spring closet sale in March 2022. Sign up for the UGG mailing list, and you’ll get an email when they open the closet.
8. Save around 60% when you wait to buy UGG at Macy’s until Cyber Week or an end-of-season sale.
While Macy’s doesn’t have great UGG deals most of the time, you’re going to want to follow our Macy’s deals on KCL so you don’t miss their noteworthy UGG sales.
Some of the best Macy’s UGG deals happen during January and July. In 2021, we saw UGG boots as low as $35.99 (down 60% from $89.99) — with an average savings of 30%. You can shop deals in store and online.
Be sure to also check Macy’s during Cyber Week in November. In 2020, we saw an UGG faux fur throw for $73 (normally $163, 56% off) and the UGG Pismo Sneaker for $49.97 (normally $130, 62% off).
And in December 2020, we also saw UGG boots and shoes 50% off at Macy’s during a one-day flash sale.
9. Buy gently used UGGs at Poshmark.com to get 60% off.
Poshmark.com is an online consignment store for buying and selling high-end fashion and beauty products. Signing up for an account is free, and you can set alerts for your favorite fashion items.
Either buy your UGGs at the seller’s listed price or haggle by making an offer — we saw an average of 60% savings for gently used boots.
We found the UGG Classic Short Suede with Shearling boots for $50 (new MSRP $169.95) — that’s 70% off!
Don’t feel like buying used online? Consider local thrift and consignment stores. We even have thrift-store hacks from a professional thrifter to help you get the best deals.
10. Save 50% (or more!) on UGG boots when you shop Zulily’s rotating flash sales.
Zulily is an online shop that has constantly rotating inventory and lightning-fast deals.
UGG often shows up on Zulily, but once a sale item is gone, that’s it. No more.
In October 2021, we saw the UGG Black Classic Zodiac Short Suede Boot for just $79.99, half off the $160.00 MSRP. Zulily also had UGG loafers for $54.99 (reg. $120.00) and a zodiac-themed boot for $89.99 (reg. $200.00).
Get free shipping: When you shop Zulily.com for the first time, they’ll send you a code for free shipping for the remainder of that day. Since shipping is based on the item price, find an inexpensive item first and purchase it. Zuliliy will send you a free shipping code, then you can buy your UGGs and you won’t have to pay shipping costs.
11. Shop UGG clearance at DSW to get 50% off retail prices.
While we love DSW’s VIP Rewards, sadly you can’t use them on UGG. Most DSW coupons won’t work, either.
Instead, check DSW’s clearance section to find some great deals on UGG boots and clothing. Recently, we saw the metallic gold UGG Classic Short II Boot on clearance for $79.98 — that’s 50% off the normal $159.99.
DSW normally doesn’t have insane Black Friday sales, but in 2020 we saw UGGs marked 25% off!
If you love DSW, you should check out 14 DSW Shopping Tips to Save You at Least 70%.
12. Save around 30% on UGG boots at RueLaLa.com.
RueLaLa.com is an online boutique with daily rotating merchandise. You can regularly save at least 15% on retail prices for women’s, men’s, and kids’ UGG items, when available — though their other shoes average 30% off!
Don’t want to pay for shipping? Sign up at RueLaLa.com for seven days of free shipping. If you make a purchase without signing up, you’ll pay $9.99 shipping, but then you’ll get free standard shipping for 30 days after.
Recently, we found the UGG Greda Waterproof Leather & Suede Duck Boot for $98.99 (normally $150), saving you 34%!
13. Costco has a 27% off sale on select UGG boots once(ish) a year.
These sales are member-only, so you’ll need to sign in to see prices.
We found the UGG Mini II Boot for $109.99, which is 27% off the normal $150.00. During Costco’s 2020 UGG sale, we saw these boots for $99.00 — so they’re more expensive this year.
You can also get the UGG Classic Short II Boot for $124.99, which is 27% off the normal $170.00.
These go super fast, so you’ll have to catch them while you can. But stay tuned to KCL, because when Costco holds this sale, you’ll wanna jump on it.
14. First responders and college students get rare discounts on brand-new UGGs.
UGG’s Community Hero Discount gives registered educators, first responders, medical professionals, and military personnel 10% off their full-price purchase from UGG.com. And their College Student Discount also offers 10% off UGG.com.
15. Even if you bought UGGs from a retailer, you can return them to UGG.com.
That’s right. To return UGGs, they generally have to be in a new and unused condition and purchased within the last 30 days.
If you bought your UGGs from UGG.com, returns and exchanges are free. If you bought your UGGs from one of their authorized UGG retailers (not Costco), you won’t be able to get a refund, but you will receive store credit to UGG.com.
The UGG warranty covers your UGGs for one year. If you find “material or workmanship defects” in that time, submit a claim to receive UGG credit. Unfortunately, they don’t do repairs.
16. Don’t buy UGGs from Amazon. . . they’re more expensive than UGG.com.
I know, bummer, right? (It’s totally weird, since they own Zappos.)
Unfortunately, all the UGGs on there are either the same prices or higher(!!!) than UGG.com, thanks to UGG’s price control policies.
If you see a suspiciously low price, it’s probably too good to be true. Counterfeits, dupes, and unauthorized sellers are common.
17. Buy discounted gift cards from Raise and save up to 15% on your new pair of UGG boots.
Buying gift cards from Raise is the only way we’ve found to save money on new UGG boots. You’ll get anywhere from 3.5% to 9.5% off if you buy a gift card from a retailer that sells UGGs, like DSW and Macy’s.
Even better, right now you can use code FIRST to get an extra 10% off all discounted gift cards if you’re a new member. My suggestion? Sign up, get a DSW gift card for 15% off (normally 5% off), then find that perfect pair in time for cozy season!
