HUGE news, Sephora fans.
You’re now able to use your Beauty Insider Points like Kohl’s Cash if you want to.
If you haven’t signed up for Sephora’s Beauty Insider loyalty program, now’s your time. It’s totally free to start earning 1 point per $1 spent in stores or at sephora.com.
Sephora has made regular tweaks to Beauty Insider over the last few years, but this is the change we’re most excited about.
You can now exchange 500 Beauty Insider points for $10 off purchases.

Sephora has introduced Beauty Insider Cash, which, for the FIRST TIME, allows Beauty Insider members to exchange their points for cash off purchases.
Every 500 points earned qualifies members for $10 off purchases — essentially a 2% cash-back offer, since Insiders have to spend $500 to accumulate the 500 points. And, speaking of that. . .
All 3 Beauty Insider tiers earn 1 point per dollar spent.

In the past, standard Beauty Insider members would get 1 point per dollar spent, VIB tier members (who spent at least $350 a year) would accumulate 1.25 points per dollar spent, and Rouge members (who spent at least $1,000 a year) would get 1.5 points per dollar.
Now, all three tiers are equal, accumulating 1 point per dollar.
There are still special perks for VIBs and Rouge members.

Via Sephora
Now, Rouge members get free shipping on all online purchases. VIBs get free shipping when they spend $35, and all other Beauty Insiders get free shipping on orders over $50.
VIBs enjoy more options for their freebie rewards and birthday gifts than standard Insider members, as well as an extra 15% off seasonal sales and $20 credit to spend at Sephora at the end of the year.
Rouge members get early access to new products, the most generous discounts and sales in store and online, and invitations to exclusive Sephora events. Rouge members can also get an extra 20% off seasonal sales, a $25 credit to spend at Sephora at the end of the year, and free shipping on all online orders.

The Rewards Bazaar is still open — and is still a better deal than Beauty Insider Cash.

Beauty Insider Cash is great if you want to put your points towards things you actually want to buy, but if you’re looking for the best value, Sephora’s Rewards Bazaar is still the best bet.
Instead of getting $10 for every $500 you spend at Sephora, the Rewards Bazaar lets you cash in as few as 100 points for a number of sample-size “reward” products from Sephora.
A mini-size hydrating spray by Make Up For Ever, priced at $14.00 on Sephora.com, costs just 100 points — the equivalent of $100 spent — a 14% value kicked back. Spend 250 points on the K fragrance by Dolce & Gabbana, valued at $94.00 — a 38% return.
Reward items change every Tuesday and Thursday, so if they have something you want, it’s a better deal than just getting $10 off here and there.
New ‘experience’ rewards are coming after the coronavirus goes away.

Part of the Beauty Insider changes includes the ability for customers to cash in points for experiences, where they can talk with brand founders and learn more about their favorite products.
Those in-person kinds of rewards — as well as in-store services like testers and makeup demonstrations — are on hold while the industry watches what happens with the coronavirus pandemic.
