KCL predicts the next Walmart Deals Event sale will start Monday, July 7, 2025.

We predict the Walmart Deals Event will return Monday, July 7, 2025, and run for four days.
How do we make our prediction?
Walmart has consistently launched this sale the day before or the same day as Amazon Prime Day. While the event name changes (Walmart Deals, Walmart+ Week, Deals for Days, etc.), the timing has been reliable. Walmart hasn’t confirmed July 2025 dates yet, but based on recent patterns, we’re predicting it’ll start on Monday, July 7, 2025.
Here’s a look at when Walmart’s summer sale kicked off in past years:
Monday, July 8, 2024 — Walmart Deals (5 p.m. ET)
Monday, July 10, 2023 — Walmart+ Week (noon ET)
Monday, July 11, 2022 — Walmart Deals for Days (7 p.m. ET)
Sunday, June 20, 2021 — Walmart Deals for Days (7 p.m. ET)
Monday, July 20, 2020 — Big Save event (rescheduled to October due to COVID)
Monday, July 15, 2019 — Big Save event
Walmart typically drops deals in the evening, often around 5 p.m. or 7 p.m. ET. Walmart+ members usually get access earlier in the day.
We’ll update this page as soon as Walmart confirms the official 2025 dates.
Walmart+ members can typically shop deals 12 hours early.
In past years, paid Walmart+ members got early access to the deals — up to 12 hours before the general public. That perk has been consistent since Walmart started running this sale to compete with Prime Day.
What to Know About Shopping the Walmart Deals Event
1. All shoppers are able to shop Walmart's Deals Event online and in the app.

You can shop the Walmart Deals event on Walmart.com or in the Walmart app. While most deals are online-only, some will also show up in stores.
2. Walmart+ members get early access.
In 2024, paid Walmart+ members got in five hours early. Based on that trend, we expect the early access window to return in 2025.
3. Always compare Walmart sale prices to Amazon Prime Day prices on top brands.
During Prime Day and Walmart’s July event, both retailers try to beat each other’s prices. Sometimes it’s just a few cents; other times, there’s a clear winner. It’s worth comparing before you buy.
4. Spend at least $35 for free 2-day shipping — or get Walmart+ for no minimum.

If you’re shopping for Walmart deals online, keep in mind the $35 free shipping minimum. However, if you’re a Walmart Plus member, you get free shipping with no order minimum all the time.
5. Walmart offers same-day delivery and pickup.
Even though the sale is online-only, you can still grab your order at the store with Walmart pickup. You also can choose same-day Walmart delivery in 90 minutes or less, plus late-night Express Delivery until 10 p.m.
6. Walmart won’t price match Amazon Prime Day, but prices are usually neck and neck.

According to Walmart’s customer service, Walmart doesn’t match Amazon prices for Prime Day deals.
However, for their most competitive sales, Walmart naturally aims to match or beat Amazon’s prices on the hottest items. So you’ll probably find comparable price match-ups without ever having to ask.
