While the deals on bedding, clothing, kitchen appliances, and electronics have ended for the October Walmart Deals Event, you can expect similar deals during Walmart's Black Friday Event, which we predict will kick off around Nov. 10, 2025. Walmart Deals is a once-a-year, 6-day sale with some of the best prices across departments.
The Walmart Deals event in October is the official start to the holiday shopping season (coinciding with Amazon’s October Prime Day sale and Target Circle Week).
Unlike Amazon, though, Walmart doesn’t limit the sale to just paid Walmart+ members. But a paid Walmart Plus membership does give you early access to the online deals five hours before everyone else.
Even though Walmart won't price match during Amazon Prime Day, their prices are usually neck and neck with Amazon's. So you’ll probably find comparable price matchups without ever having to ask.

We predict that the next Walmart Deals Event will take place Tuesday, Oct. 6 - Sunday, Oct. 11, 2026. The sale will likely begin at midnight ET on Walmart.com and in the Walmart app for all shoppers.
Paid Walmart+ members typically get exclusive early access to shop the online deals five hours earlier than everyone else, starting at 7 p.m. ET the night before.
How do we make our prediction?
For the last several years, Walmart has had a sale surrounding the Amazon Prime Big Deal Days sale in October — starting one day before it and ending one day later.
Given that we predict Amazon will have their next Fall Prime Day sale on the first Tuesday and Wednesday in October (Oct. 6 and 7), we anticipate Walmart will once again start their Deals Event on Tuesday, Oct. 6, and end on Sunday, Oct. 11.
