I recently attended a school science fair with my kids, and one of the displays showcased a glob of DIY slime. My kids were entranced and couldn’t stop staring at it. Nearby was posted a large "do not touch" sign, and I could just see the longing in my kids’ eyes to get their hands on that slimy stuff. So, of course, we just had to go home and make our own version. This fun project takes just a few supplies, and in no time you’ll have your hands in slime too!
- 1 tsp. borax
- 1 cup warm water
- Colored glitter glue
- Dissolve a teaspoon of borax in a cup of warm water
- Pour glue into the solution and let your kids mix it up with their hands.
- The glue will begin to harden rather quickly, so don't leave it in too long.
- Pull it out and play with your slime! If it’s too sticky, just slip it back into your borax solution for few seconds.
