I can share from experience—once your first newborn arrives, you absolutely, positively know that life will never be the same again. And here I’m just talking about discovering the mind-boggling number of diapers you’ll need! There’s a reason diapers are on every baby registry (and are still one of the most popular shower gifts).
In this post, KCL has compiled a list of ways you can stock up on the diapers you need—without paying a cent!
How much do we spend on diapers annually?
BabyCenter has a “new baby calculator” that helps expectant parents calculate their baby’s monthly expenses in advance. A month’s supply of disposable diapers is estimated to cost $72/month (around $0.25/diaper), a cloth diaper service $76/month, and washing cloth diapers at home $19/month. Wipes are estimated to cost $20/month.
- Disposable diapers + wipes: $72 + $20 = $92/month x 12 months = $1,104/year
Most babies today use diapers until they are fully potty-trained at around age 3.
- 3 years of diapers + wipes: $1,104 x 3 years = $3,312
Here’s hoping these resources can help you cut these costs by a little—or a lot!
9 Ways to snag free diapers + wipes
Each of these resources can snag you free diapers and wipes—the “how to” is explained below.
1. Honest Co.
Just select the bundle you want (Diapers + Wipes bundle) when you order your trial. Honest Co. will send you 7 diapers and 10 wipes absolutely free!
Sign up for the Dollar Diaper Club free trial and pay only $5.95 for shipping/handling. You will receive 6 all-natural, organic diapers and 10 wipes for free!
Pampers Rewards is a loyalty club, so it works a bit differently. You sign up for the Rewards program and earn 100 points just for enrolling. Then when you buy a box of Pampers, just look for the code inside. Enter it online in your member portal, and as points accumulate, you can earn free diapers (and other Pampers products).
Everyday Family is a Better Business Bureau A+ rated company that has partnered with trusted names in baby care to provide members with ongoing freebies, coupons, and rewards. When you sign up with Everyday Family (it’s free!), you can choose the freebies you want.
You can also enter their contest to win free diapers for one year—a $750 value.
5. Amazon Mom
Your strategy to get free diapers through Amazon Mom is going to be a bit different. Here, you want to use rewards apps and survey sites (like Swagbucks, Bing, and Opinion Outpost) to amass rewards credits that you can apply towards the purchase of diapers on Amazon Mom.

Huggies Rewards works similarly to Pampers Rewards. You sign up for the rewards program (it’s free!) and immediately start earning points. Plus, each package of diapers you buy contains a code you can enter to redeem more points. Eventually you can redeem your points for free diapers and other Huggies products (or donate your points to a baby in need!).
If you use Diapers.com (or want to), you can join their Refer-a-Friend Program and earn points for referring friends. Then you can convert those points into free diapers for yourself or a baby in need!
There are two ways to score free diapers with Luvs. First, you can join the Luvs network, get a $1 off coupon just for joining, and then begin receiving special offers and coupons via email. Second, you can enter the Luvs sweepstakes contest on Facebook (you can enter once each day!) to win free diapers for a year!
