If you’re anything like me, your holiday shopping lists are probably scrawled across napkins or on the backs of utility bill envelopes. To say that I’m unorganized would be a bit of an understatement! Fortunately, there are some great apps out there to help organize every aspect of your holiday shopping, from the planning and the budgeting to finding the best price while shopping. Before you lose that last scrap of paper with your gift ideas on it, check out these three apps to help you stay organized:

1. No More Socks

If you’re looking for a great gift-list app for iOS, check out No More Socks. This app from FEZ Studios encompasses everything you need to plan and organize your holiday shopping—basics like creating lists, adding photos and setting reminders—but No More Socks offers a lot more than just the basics. This app takes the gift-list app one step further by adding such fun features as the ability to browse other people’s gifts for inspiration in the Shared Ideas Area. Users can also find and bookmark gifts online and jot down ideas on the Idea Pad tab. And if you’re worried that your little brother might try to sneak into your list to find out what he’s getting, don’t. No More Socks even has an optional passcode lock to keep out prying eyes. No More Socks is free on iTunes.

2. Christmas Gift List

If you have an Android device, check out Christmas Gift List. This free app helps to organize, plan and keep track of your holiday budget by tracking your spending as well as your gifts. Using this app, users can create lists and keep track of gifts purchased, gifts that still need to be purchased and even which gifts still need to be mailed and wrapped! It also keeps track of your budget so you can see how much you’ve spent and how much you have left. Other features of the Christmas Gift List app include passcode protection and the ability to email your list to family and friends. The Christmas Gift List app is free on Google Play.

3. Wunderlist

If you don’t mind an absence of holiday décor on your app, check out Wunderlist. Though not a gift list-specific app, this simple task manager works well for the holiday season. Using this basic app, users can create a list for gifts and/or recipients and input each gift as a task. Each task can be given a due date, reminders and push notifications, and even a priority level, so you get those must-have gifts crossed off first! Once you have purchased a gift, simply mark the task as completed and move on. One of the nice features to Wunderlist is that it syncs across all of your devices so you can access your list from anywhere. The Wunderlist app is available for iOS, Android and Windows devices and is free to download.
