We were super excited to see that Old Navy stores have started opening up — and even more excited to see customers welcomed back with epic storewide sales.
About 400 Old Navy locations have reopened, and they’re pretty motivated to get rid of a bunch of the merchandise they’ve been sitting on the past two months.
If your local store is open, you’ll want to know about this.
Old Navy clearance is an extra 40% off right now — and there’s a lot of clearance.
We found WAY MORE clearance than usual at Old Navy, and all of it is discounted 40% off the tag price.
Winter clothing is dirt cheap, and even some summer apparel is on clearance.
We were able to find swimsuits for $7.16 (reg. $24.99), jeans for $10.16 (reg. $34.99), a sea of shirts for as low as $1.19, tank tops for $7.76 (reg. $26.99), and way too much to post here.
Note: Some locations, like Old Navy in Las Vegas, are discounting clearance 30% instead of 40%.
The rest of the store is discounted 20 – 50% off regular prices.
That includes 20% off Famous Jeans, $5 EveryWear Tees, $11.99 fleeces, kids’ clothes as low as $2.99, and button-up shirts for 50% off.
Signs with red backgrounds and white writing denote clearance.
You’ll be seeing red everywhere — these sections mean the clothing surrounding them will be discounted 40% on top of the sticker price. The discounts are taken off at the register.
The most important thing, though, is a red price tag.
Signs with white backgrounds and red writing are, for the most part, sale prices — listing either a specific price or percentage off listed.
But in some cases, like the tank tops section, you’ll find red tags. So that means there’s so much clearance, it’ll even pop up in non-clearance sections. So look for the red tag.
There’s no flip flop sale in store. . . yet.
But there’s a rumor in the twitterverse that it’s days (or even hours) away, although our local Old Navy wasn’t aware of a planned in-store flip flop sale.
You can score $1 flip flops if you have an Old Navy credit card right now online, and use the promo code HOLLA. Shipping is free on all orders of $25.00 or more.
All tees, tanks, shorts, and swimwear is 50% off online.
Not wanting to go in store? Store still closed? Old Navy is still rolling out online deals.
They also have curbside pickup at select locations.
If you shop in store, it’ll look a little different.
In the wake of the coronavirus pandemic, expect fitting rooms to be closed, employees to be wearing facial coverings, protective barriers at registers, reduced hours, and increased cleanings.
Shoppers are encouraged to wear face masks, but not required.
Signage in Old Navy stores reads, “Follow the example of our employees and wear a face mask. Please be considerate of others’ safety. Thanks!”
Almost 400 Old Navy stores are now open.
That’s not quite half of the 1,100 locations nationwide, so check the official list of reopened stores to find out about your nearest location. But, generally speaking, Old Navy has reopened in the following states:
- North Carolina
- Rhode Island
- South Carolina
