Peloton has pedaled right into Amazon warehouses across the country thanks to a new partnership. That’s right — for the first time, you can buy the Peloton Bike on Amazon as well as their accessories and fitness apparel.

You’ve probably heard of the popular Peloton bike even if you aren’t a fitness fanatic. The luxury bikes have made waves, but the high price tag has been a little off-putting for some.

Peloton has partnered with Amazon to get people more access to the bikes. And as a result, there are TONS of perks and ways to cut down on the, at times, prohibitive price.

You’ll also get to walk into a Dick’s Sporting Goods and get your Peloton equipment there soon. This means you can cut costs even more. We break down what this means for you and your wallet:

For the first time, you can buy the Peloton Bike on Amazon.

As of Aug. 24, 2022, Peloton has opened a storefront on Amazon where shoppers can find their bikes, apparel, footwear, and accessories to expand the reach of their exercise bikes.

If you’re looking for immediate price cuts now that Peloton is on Amazon, you’ll be disappointed. Their Original Peloton Bike model is the exact same price on Amazon as it is on Peloton’s website: $1,445.

That pattern repeats for all of the available items on Peloton’s Amazon storefront — like the $145 cycling shoes; the prices are the same in both places.

Use Amazon savings tips and store credit to spend less on your Peloton gear.

Just because you don’t see cheaper list prices for Peloton on Amazon, it doesn’t mean you can’t save money on the popular exercise equipment. You can use our Amazon savings tricks to cut down on your total out-of-pocket cost for Peloton.

And if the price isn’t right, you can earn Amazon credit and spend it on your Peloton purchase. Here are just a few ways:

  • Trade in your used Amazon devices to get up to $30.
  • Earn $120 a year by scanning your non-Amazon receipts with the Amazon Shopper Panel.
  • Get $5 off when you place your first order with the Amazon app.

You can also earn Amazon gift cards by using shopping apps like Shopkick. Interested? We’ll tell you how to get started on Shopkick.

Get your Peloton apparel on Amazon to save time and money on shipping.

Shipping Peloton apparel and accessories on the Peloton website will run you $7 via USPS. But Prime members get free shipping and so do non-Prime members if they spend at least $25. That’s easy to do, since there are only four items available that cost less than $25.

Not only are you saving money on shipping fees with Peloton on Amazon, but you save time, too. If you buy direct from Peloton, you can expect your accessories to arrive in two to five days. But if you buy your Peloton gear via Amazon, you’ll get your stuff in two to three days (even if you’re not a Prime member).

Wanting the Peloton bike? You’ll get it delivered four months earlier when you buy through Amazon.

If you buy a Peloton bike through OnePeloton.com, you can expect a decent wait for your bike — about four months, to be exact.

When we checked delivery times on their site, they were several months out into the future, but if you buy on Amazon, your wait time will be much, much less. Like you could get it in as few as two days.

TIP: If you’re buying your Peloton bike on Amazon, make sure to select Expert Delivery at checkout (if it’s available in your area). That ensures a trained technician will deliver and assemble your bike. Delivery and assembly is included in that big price tag, so take advantage of it.

If you’re planning to pay monthly for your Peloton, Amazon’s got a better payment plan option.

Shoppers at OnePeloton.com have the option to pay for their bike for as low as $47.03 per month for 39 months. Peloton uses Affirm to handle their payment plans, and as you can tell from our buy now pay later services list, it’s one of the more expensive options — charging interest of up to 14.99%. That means you’ll pay up to $389 in interest.

Amazon, meanwhile, doesn’t have as long of a payment plan but lets you split your payment up into 12 installments of $120 each with no interest or fees. With that extra $389, you could buy Peloton bike shoes, a water bottle, a workout mat, weights, a Peloton hoodie, and a Peloton tank, and still have a little money leftover.

Not all Peloton products are available on Amazon — at least for now.

You won’t find ALL of Peloton’s products on Amazon. If you’re looking for the Peloton+ bike or Peloton Tread, you’ll have to go to OnePeloton.com. But who knows — if this first group of products does well on Amazon, we may see the product offerings expand in the future.

Soon you’ll also be able to buy Peloton at Dick’s Sporting Goods.

Soon you’ll be able to go to Dick’s Sporting Goods and pick up Peloton equipment.

Peloton recently announced that they’ve partnered with Dick’s Sporting Goods to sell their products. They’re looking to do a nationwide rollout, but they’re experimenting with a limited rollout of 100 stores (out of the 700 total Dick’s stores). They’re the first brick-and-mortar retailer to carry Peloton products besides the Peloton store.

Dick’s will have a larger selection than Amazon, including the Peloton Bike, Bike Plus, Tread, Guide strength training equipment, and accessories at select Dick’s locations and DicksSportingGoods.com. The costs will match the Peloton store, but with our money-saving Dick’s hacks, you can knock down the price.

While there’s no official launch date, Peloton says they’ll appear in Dick’s stores before the holiday shopping season kicks off — so keep an eye out in October.
