Target Circle Week 2024: What to Expect in October

Target Circle Week is arguably the best time of the year for finding deals. That’s because members of the free Target Circle rewards program get flooded with discounts for an entire week — not-so-coincidentally surrounding Amazon Prime Day sales in July and October.

During this event, you’ll find gobs of Target Circle offers — 20% - 50% off thousands of different products such as home goods, apparel, and toys. And you can make the deals even better with your 5% Circle Card discount.

Target Circle Week is a twice-a-year, one-week sale for members of Target's free loyalty program.

This is Target’s answer to Amazon Prime Day. For a week in July (and a week in October), members of Target Circle (which is FREE to join) will get special access to discounts on all of Target’s store brands, plus some of their most popular national brands (like Lenovo, Dyson, and Keurig). 

This is the time of year when you can find the most Target Circle offers happening all at once — online, in-store, or via the app. You just have to be a member of the free program to claim the sale prices. (We’ve got lots of reasons why you should sign up for Target Circle if you haven’t already.) 

If you do choose a paid Target Circle 360 subscription, you'll get same-day delivery with Shipt, with no delivery fees on orders over $35. During Target Circle Week, you can sign up for a new Target Circle 360 subscription for just $49 for the first year (regularly $99).

Note: Although Target had a Target Circle Week in April 2024, the sale was part of Target’s launch of their new rewards program. Since Target has never held a Circle Week in April before, we’re counting it as a one-off, so we didn’t include it below.

KCL predicts the next Target Circle Week will begin on Sunday, Oct. 6, 2024.

Target hasn't officially announced the start date of the next Target Circle Week,  but based on what they've done in recent years, we here at KCL predict that it’ll start Sunday, Oct. 6.

How did we make our prediction?

Target usually runs their Target Circle Week promotion around the same time as Amazon Prime Day. In 2023, Target held their October Target Circle Week the first week of October. If they repeat this same pattern, Target will have the Circle Week starting on Sunday, Oct. 6.

Target Circle Week has deals on toys, kitchenware, and more.

During the July Target Circle Week sale, we saw deals on toys, clothing, back-to-school items, and more. In October, you'll see more deals geared toward the holidays, with savings on artificial Christmas trees, kitchen items, and floor care.

Here are the July Circle Week deals we saw in 2024:

• 20% off select skincare, suncare and fragrances, including CeraVe, La Roche Posay, Neutrogena, Olay, Sun Bum, Banana Boat, Fine'ry and more

• Buy one, get one 50% off food and beverage summer favorites, including ice cream, all chilled juices and chilled coffee beverages, all fresh berries and more

• Spend $50 on home care products and receive a $15 Target GiftCard

• Spend $40 on select products at Ulta Beauty at Target and receive a $10 Target GiftCard

Get a free $10 Target gift card with a $40 Ulta at Target purchase.

You have the chance to save on Ulta Beauty at Target during Circle Week. If you spend $40 or more on eligible Ulta at Target purchases, you’ll typically score a free $5 Target gift card. However, for July 2024, Target increased the gift card value from $5 to $10! Score.

Target's Deal of the Day included a BOGO 50% off Starbucks deal on July 11, 2024.

The Target Deal of the Day program made its return July 7 - 13, with one-day deals exclusively for free Target Circle members. Here was one of the hot daily deals we saw this time around:

• Starbucks Buy Any Beverage, Get One 50% Off deal, available in stores and via Drive Up, only on July 11.

Target had a rare toy coupon for October Circle Week last year: spend $50, save $10 — or spend $100, save $25.

We didn’t think we’d see a killer toy deal before the 25% off Target Toy Coupon dropped. But last year, Target surprised us all with a rare Circle Week coupon. If you spent at least $50 on toys, you’d get $10 off. If you spent at least $100 on toys, you’d get $25 off. This was basically a chance to save 20% on some of the hottest toys ahead of the holidays.

On top of deals up to 50% off, Target Circle members get a bonus reward to use on their purchases.

For example, my Target app gave me a $15 reward on qualifying purchases of $120 or more, but other KCL readers had a $15 reward on $115 purchases or a $10 reward on $90 purchases.

To find your reward, tap on Target Circle offers in the Target app and scroll past the offers to see your Target Circle Bonus. And don’t forget to tap “Activate bonus” to take advantage of your reward!

Ask for a price match within 14 days of your Target Circle Week purchase if you find a better deal.

Target won’t price match Amazon Lightning Deals or Amazon Fresh Exclusive offers, but they do price match Amazon Prime Day deals as long as those deals aren’t just for Prime members. That means if you buy something at Target during Circle Week, and then find a lower price on Amazon the next week, you can ask for a Target price match equal to the lower Amazon price.

Pay with your Target Circle Card for an extra 5% off all the limited-time deals.

Choose from a Target Circle Card credit or debit card, but I definitely recommend the debit card version. It connects to your checking account and works like a regular debit card, but it only works at Target.

Plus, you’ll get free two-day shipping on all your orders with a Circle Card. Without the Circle Card, you'd need to spend at least $35 to get free two-day shipping.

Get your Circle Week deals the same day with free Target Pickup and Drive Up.

You can also grab your Circle Week haul on the same day with free Target pickup options. If you place an order online or in the app, you can use Target Drive Up (aka curbside), or pick up your items in-store.

Target doesn’t have a minimum order requirement for pickup orders, so if you’re not hitting that $35 free shipping threshold on Target.com, store pickup is a great (and speedy) way to save!
