Like most kids, my children's favorite store is The Disney Store. And I have to admit, it's easy to channel my inner-child myself when I'm surrounded by all those colorful Disney characters and flashing lights. Summer Play Days give my family an excuse to visit The Disney Store every day. The Disney Store's Summer Play Days offer super fun in-store programs and events to keep my kids (and myself) busy until school returns this fall.
When Summer Play Days start
The Disney Store Summer Play Days are going on now through Sept 1st! Times vary by store, so be sure to call or visit your local store to find out all the details. You can find a Disney Store closest to you here.
Who can attend
Kids who are three years old or older are invited to attend The Disney Store Summer Play Days. But I've seen entire families at these events (even newborn babies). My store doesn't deprive anyone of the fun!
What you can expect
At The Disney Store Summer Play Days you can expect songs, stories, showtime and free gifts! Each child will get a free character button as a thank you for attending! And every week there’s a new button to collect—look out for the Blade, Dipper, Olaf & Elsa and Sleeping Beauty buttons coming up this summer! Besides the free buttons, your child will also get a free lanyard to put his or her buttons on. My kids always love to collect things like these. My local store is also handing out bonus prizes just for showing up on a regular basis—you get a free Mickey Mouse keychain when you attend five events and a Mickey Mouse watch when you go to ten events!
