Travel Car Charger for Apple Watch, $7.99 at Amazon

Nowadays, almost everyone (and their mothers) seems to have an on-the-go charger. Whether you keep one in your car or you’ve got an emergency battery pack in your purse, very few of us travel long-term without a back-up. But it’s easier for phones; since Apple Watches have their own unique, circle-shaped charging system, the cable that works for phones and iPads unfortunately isn’t compatible with the good ol’ Apple Watch.

That’s why we were so stoked when we stumbled upon the Travel Car Charger for Apple Watch on Amazon ($7.99, Amazon). Not only is it relatively cheap (only $7.64!) but it’s conveniently designed like a keychain so it’s both lightweight and portable, and though small, it’s mighty—fast-charging a Watch in as little as two hours. Compatible with Apple Watch Series 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, SE, 5, 6, and 7, it plugs into any USB, computer, or power bank for on-the-go juice and features multiple layers of protection in the form of a built-in over-current, over-voltage, short-circuit, and overheating protections.

The truth is there aren’t a ton of great on-the-go Apple Watch chargers out there. The ones that do exist are usually upwards of $20, so this Amazon one is not only a game-changer but a money-saver.

LK 6-Pack Apple Watch Screen Protector, $9.99 at Amazon

With more than 22K reviews, it’s clear that plenty of Apple users think these screen protectors ($9.99, Amazon) are the bee’s knees. Best of all, it’s a six-pack of clear protectors, so it’s a heck of a deal!

Similar versions can be found elsewhere on Amazon and on Walmart.com but the deal isn’t nearly as good. Whereas this six-pack is less than $10, one three-pack of Watch screen protectors at Walmart is $6.31.

But don’t worry that you’re getting a bad product for a better deal. The clear TPU film is incredibly thin—so you won’t notice a thick, clouded film that makes the Watch impossible to read—but it’s durable enough to provide the necessary anti-scratch protection Watches need. (After all, how many times a day do you accidentally bump or scratch your Watch against something?) For that reason alone, a screen protector is an investment into your Watch’s safety and long-lasting durability.

Portable Wireless Charger, $19.99 at Amazon

Available in white, black, green, or red, the Portable Wireless Charger ($19.99, Amazon) is another must-have for traveling Apple Watch-wearers. Unlike the other one on our list, however, this charger is completely wireless in that it doesn’t need to be plugged into a USB. It’s more like a MagSafe-friendly power bank for your Watch.

Thinking of it that way (like a power bank), you can easily compare the prices between this Portable Wireless Charger and other power banks—ones not crafted for Watches specifically. Some of the best, most effective power banks cost anywhere from $499 to over $1,000.

Of course, you wouldn’t spend that anyway. After all, you’re a savvy shopper. But even still, the price of the average wireless battery is usually anywhere from $30 and $200.

This one’s also designed like a keychain and features a 1000mAH battery that charges watches in anywhere from two to two-and–a-half hours. When it needs power itself, the Portable Wireless Charger comes with a micro-USB that can be plugged in and usually takes about three to four hours to fully replenish. It works with Apple Watch 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, Ultra, SE, and Nike and it comes in handy in all kinds of scenarios—whether that’s while hiking, day-tripping, or running errands on the go.

Watch Bumper, $24.95 at Otterbox

While Apple Watch Screen Protectors dole out a great service, they only protect the screen of an Apple Watch and not its four sides. If you’re used to bumping your Watch up against any and every surface or have a habit of dropping it, the Watch Bumper from Otterbox ($24.95, Otterbox) might just be the heavy-duty, anti-accident cover for you. Like the bumpers of the bowling aisle, the Watch Bumper design is made from 98 percent recycled plastic polycarbonate that guards the display, edges, and the crown of the Watch and features a snug fit so it doesn’t loosen or fall off with each bump or drop.

With the Watch Bumper, you’ll never have to worry about scratches or scuffs and even the occasional dropping of the Watch isn’t as big a deal, but you may be thinking: Is there a cheaper version of this that’s not an Otterbox? You wouldn’t be wrong.

Sure, we could recommend a two-pack hard case with tempered glass or a glassless four-pack for $8.99 from Amazon, but this is another you-get-what-you-pay-for type deal. The Otterbox has an outstanding reputation for saving phones from dire situations. For about $25, don’t you want the same for your Watch?

Action Band for Apple Watch, $29.99 at Twelve South

Another fun Apple Watch accessory for the gym rats out there, the Action Band for Apple Watch by Twelve South ($29.99, Twelve South) is the ultimate sweat-resistant watch band. In addition to protecting your actual Apple Watch band underneath, it’s made of soft and flexible terry cotton that absorbs the sweat as you work out and keeps your hands dry so they don’t slip.

Other versions of Apple Watch watch bands are made with less grippy material that can cause your Watch to slide, and frankly, they just don’t get the job done as well.

Compatible with Apple Watch Series 4, 5, SE, 6, 7, and 8, it includes two machine-washable bands—one that features a frame for your watch and one without. It’s also super stretchy, too, so if you don’t want to wear it on your wrist, it can be scooched up your forearm for a more comfortable workout.

If the $29.99 price tag is more than you’d typically spend, consider buying the Action Band for Apple Watch on Amazon—used.

Vine Watch Band for 44/42mm Apple Watch, $49.95 at Pela Case

Pela’s products are a fan-favorite sustainable option and the company makes everything from compostable iPhone and iPad cases to zero-waste screen protectors. But our favorite Pela product of all is actually the Vine Watch Band for 44/42mm Apple Watch ($49.95, Pelacasecom). Available in an assortment of colors—black, teddy brown, forest floor, green, lavender, and stormy blue—Pela touts this Earth-friendly band as the very first compostable smartwatch band. Compatible with Apple Watch Series 1/2/3/4/5/6/SE/and 7, it’s most akin to a silicone band but it’s actually made from Pela’s proprietary material, Flaxstic.

It’s hard wearing but easy to detach (with a quick-release metal clasp) and at the end of its life, you can compost it in your backyard where it’ll eventually biodegrade and turn to soil.

Now, “sustainable” products often come with a heftier price tag, so we know what you’re thinking. At just under $50, you can probably find a silicone band for half the price. But what we love about the Vine Watch Band isn’t just that it’s a more earth-friendly option; it’s also more durable than those flimsy silicone bands you can find on Amazon or even Walmart. Flaxstic feels stronger than even silicone and so you know it’ll last as long as you need it to (so long as you keep it out of the dirt!).

Not to mention, there’s always the option to find Pela products on clearance (up to 40 percent off!) and Pela’s always running buy-one-get-one deals throughout the year.

BONUS: BoostCharge Pro Dual USB-C GaN Wall Charger with PPS 65W, $49.99 at Belkin

While the Boost and Charge Pro 3-in-1 Wireless Charger with MagSafe 15W (below) is convenient for charging three devices at a time—especially if you’re juicing them up overnight while you sleep—it doesn’t accommodate MacBooks. So, if you’ve become accustomed to a fast charge and now want one for your MacBook, too, the BoostCharge Pro Dual USB-C GaN Wall Charger with PPS 65W ($49.99, Belkin) is the way to go (although it’ll only work on the models from the last couple of years as it’s compatible with USB-C, not USB). With that $39.99 price tag, you get the most bang for your buck, too, as it’s outfitted with GaN, USB-C PD 3.0, and PPS—all three of which are charging technologies that help it power up your device faster than standard chargers. Plus, it won’t only charge your laptop or desktop; it’s actually got two USB-C ports so you can charge two devices at once. That top port offers 45W of power while the bottom delivers 20W when you’re using both simultaneously.

While the Boost and Charge Pro 3-in-1 Wireless Charger with MagSafe 15W (below) isn’t for the MacBook, the BoostCharge Pro Dual USB-C GaN Wall Charger with PPS 65W can accommodate one device (like the Apple Watch), plus a MacBook all at once—making it a great deal for our list. After all, nobody wants their Watch and their laptop to die at the same time.

Plus, both ports deliver serious wattage that’ll juice up your devices fast. That top port offers 45W of power, while the bottom delivers 20W when you’re using both simultaneously. Now that’s priceless.

Tangram Factory Smart Rope LED Jump Rope, $79.95 at Apple

If you’ve ever worked out with Apple Fitness+, you’re going to obsess over the Tangram Factory Smart Rope LED Jump Rope ($79.95, Apple.com). Just like your Apple Watch, this smart rope makes working out at home (or at the gym) as easy as possible by monitoring your cardio workout. It pairs with the Smart Gym app on Apple Watch and then records each complete revolution of the rope with the help of magnetic sensors that also monitor calories burned and workout times. If you’re looking for more (although we’re sold on those features alone!), the Tangram Factory Smart Rope LED Jump Rope has 23 flashy LEDs and through the app, offers interval training recommendations.

While it’s undeniably pricey, it’s a great investment for anyone who works out regularly and relies on their Apple Watch to record their workouts. Sure, Apple Watches record exercise minutes (and calories burned, etc.) when you’re taking a hike or a walk or a swim, but when jumping rope, a smart jump rope that connects to your Watch can’t be skipped.

Boost and Charge Pro 3-in-1 Wireless Charger with MagSafe 15W, $109.99 at Amazon

Charging stations are so in right now, considering most Apple lovers have more than one device. But in a sea of subpar options, this charging station from Belkin ($109.99, Amazon) is one of the best we’ve seen hands-down. Once $149.99, the price of the Boost and Charge has gone down recently, but if you see that three-digit number and want to say, ‘Eek!’ we totally get it. The good news is: There’s value here.

KCL loves a cheap thrill just as much as the next shopper, but some of those other charging stations really are garbage. This one isn’t. Not only will it last you a long time (much longer than those other cheapy, flimsy ones), but it won’t lose its charging power over time. Unlike other inferior charging stations that may lose their effectiveness after a while, you get what you pay for with the Boost and Charge Pro 3-in-1 Wireless Charger with MagSafe 15W in terms of longevity.

In the unlikely event that it does go kaput? This Apple-friendly tech comes with a two-year warranty as well as a Connected Equipment Warranty (CEW) of up to $2,500 for ultimate protection.

With a minimalistic style and individual spaces for a trio of devices—an Apple Watch, phone, and then AirPods—it’s a fast charger thanks to its 15W capability. What’s more, it’s also got convenient MagSafe technology, which means it’s compatible with all Apple Watches, is totally wireless, and allows your phone to charge in either portrait or landscape (so you can watch videos!) while you charge your Watch.

In addition to great value, this charging station is completely customizable to the features you need. Don’t need three chargers? Opt for 2-in-1 instead ($99.95). There’s also the option to buy used; prices, of course, vary by seller but it looks like the 2-in-1 is around $53 and the 3-in-1 is $60.

Wristcam SmartDual-Camera Band for Apple Watch, $299 at Amazon

It won’t necessarily change your life, but people are loving the Wristcam SmartDual-Camera Band for Apple Watch ($299, Amazon) because it enables the Apple Watch for video calls—like a video walkie-talkie option with other Apple Watches—and taking/previewing photos and videos. You’ll need to download the Wristcam app to use it and unfortunately, to most users’ dismay, it’s not compatible with FaceTime. Even still, it’s a pretty sweet Apple Watch accessory and anyone who’s obsessed with their Apple Watch—and has a lot of Apple Watch-wearing friends and family members—will go ga-ga for this thing.

Compatible with Apple Watch Ultra, 45mm Apple Watch Series 8, 45mm Apple Watch Series 7, 44mm Apple Watch Series 6, 44mm Apple Watch Series 5, 44mm Apple Watch Series 4, 42mm Apple Watch Series 3, the Apple Watch SE, and Apple Watch Series 8, it comes with a removable Wristcam core, a single color short and then long band, a charging cable, and two USB port-charging adapters for charging both the Wristcam and Apple Watch. It requires watchOS7 (or greater) and iOS13 (or greater) and features two cameras that take both HD video and 4K photos, dual microphones, and is even dust-resistant and water-resistant up to 1.5 meters of water for 30 minutes. Just imagine the underwater photos!

While perusing Wristcams on Amazon Refurbished, we found one in good condition for as low as $214 and one in acceptable condition for $190. Try your luck!
