Barbie Halloween costumes are going to be hot this season given the success of the Barbie movie. I started planning my own Barbie costume while leaving the theater. I’ve found that the options out there are pretty solid. Whether you’re looking for a couples’ costume (Barbie and Ken anyone?) or just something you can DIY easily, Barbie Halloween costumes are a great choice.
So I rounded up the least expensive costumes inspired by the Barbie universe. You can get a human-sized Barbie doll box if you want to DIY the ‘fit and just wear something pink from your closet, or you can go all-out with a replica of Margot Robbie’s iconic gingham outfit. And, if you’re more of an Allan, I found a pretty cheap striped shirt just like his. All that’s left is a stay in the Barbie Malibu DreamHouse.

Barbie Halloween Costumes for Little Ones
Kids have been dressing up as Barbie for decades now, and this year isn’t any different. There’s no need to pay more than $30 for a child’s costume, ever. Fortunately, most kid Barbie costumes are around $20. Or, if you have a little Ken instead, options start at $17. In general, children’s Ken costumes are a little more pricey, so $35 is the most you should pay for those.

Adult Barbie Halloween Costumes
If you find an adult Barbie costume for $40 or more, move along. While there are tons of Spirit Halloween options that cost nearly $60, you can find the same look for way cheaper at Walmart or Amazon. Our favorite picks start at less than $30, making it a budget-friendly choice.
Ken and Allan Halloween Costumes
Oh, Ken. Can’t live with him, can’t live without him. If you’re in the market for a Ken costume, you can avoid spending more than $40. Luckily, Ken’s outfits are cheaper than his much pinker counterpart’s looks. Many solid options cost as little as $23 after accounting for sales.
And, while Ken’s clothes fit Allan too, you can pick up Allan’s iconic striped shirt for about $20. Blue shorts, sandals, and combover not included.
