We'll update exact markdown percentages as they happen starting on April 6, 2026, but here’s what you can expect based on past clearance trends:
Walmart Easter Clearance
Walmart Easter clearance started at 25% off candy and food and 50% off everything else the day after the holiday. By April 10, look for it to jump to 75% off, and by April 13, you can expect 75% - 90% off anything still hanging around. You'll find markdowns on candy, toys, plushies, plastic eggs, baskets, and decor. Clearance items will be in the seasonal section, but check endcaps and aisles too.
Target Easter Clearance
Target Easter clearance officially kicked off with 50% off everything Easter starting April 6. Look for candy, decor, baskets, and egg dye kits at 50% off. Online clearance usually lags a bit and tends to cap around 15% - 30% off. In-store clearance will likely reach 70% off by April 8 and 70% - 90% off by April 10 (candy usually caps at 70% off).
Hobby Lobby Easter Clearance
We've confirmed the markdowns at Hobby Lobby started the day after Easter, which is April 6 in 2026. You'll get 66% off Easter decor, baskets, party supplies, and more. By April 9, markdowns should jump to 75% off, and go as high as 90% off by April 13.

Some CVS stores start their markdowns as early as Easter Sunday, which fell on April 5, 2026. Expect 25% - 33% off candy, food items, baskets, egg decorating kits, plushes, and more. And you can use CVS ExtraBucks on clearance, which makes the savings even better.

Amazon Easter Clearance

Dollar Tree Easter Clearance
Right after Easter, Dollar Tree usually marks down seasonal candy and decor by 50%, so you’ll see prices as low as $0.63. Look for chocolate eggs, flavored popcorn, plush bunnies, and tableware.
