Can you get free stuff at Walgreens? Abso-freakin’-lutely. When you stack a manufacturer coupon, a store coupon, and a Walgreens Cash promotion, the real magic happens. One of the best ways to get Walgreens freebies (or even moneymakers) is by stacking coupons with rebate offers you find on Ibotta or other rebate apps.
We put together this list to give you a head start on finding Walgreens freebies. Let us show you exactly where to look:

1. Count on getting oral care products for free (or even as a moneymaker) at Walgreens.

The best time to buy oral care products like mouthwash and toothpaste at Walgreens is when you can stack multiple offers together. That could mean you use a coupon with an Ibotta offer, or you combine a sale price with Walgreens Cash. These types of deals are often great ways to get moneymakers — where the deal actually pays you.
We see stock-up prices on toothpaste and mouthwash at Walgreens every couple of weeks, and we post them in our Walgreens deals under $1 roundup. The most frequent deals are for Crest and Colgate.

2. Get free snacks at Walgreens — sometimes even multiples!
The best way to save your way through inflation is with free snacks! Grab free or moneymaker snacks at Walgreens by pairing sale prices with rebate offers. Occasionally, you can even score multiple free items!
3. About once a month, candy is completely free after a Register Reward.

About every other month we see Register Reward promotions pop up at Walgreens that’ll give you a free full-price bag of candy when you buy a bag of candy on sale for $1.99. The most popular brands for these deals are typically Black Forest gummies, Now & Later chewy candies, and Trolli gummies.
4. Stack Walgreens offers and get free deodorant.
Getting free deodorant at Walgreens is a lot like how you score free oral care products. You’ll want to stack multiple offers together to make the magic happen. You can count on free deodorant at least every other month.

5. Make money when you buy your razors at Walgreens.
Ibotta loves to put out big rebate offers for razors. Pair these rebates with Walgreens sales, Register Reward offers, and manufacturer coupons for huge savings. But remember that these deals won’t last, and Ibotta offers can vary by user (and sometimes by region).
Just make sure you have a printed Walgreens receipt to scan into the Ibotta app.

6. Watch for photo freebies at least once every two months — like a Walgreens free 8×10 print worth $3.99.

Walgreens offers a free photo print pretty much every month, and at least every other month you can count on getting a free 8×10 print (reg. $3.99) at Walgreens. In the months when you don’t find a Walgreens free 8×10 photo, you’ll see other offers good for a free 5×7 photo (reg. $2.99), or free sets of 4×6 photos (reg. $0.37/print).
They only allow one free photo per customer, so get your spouse or buddy to create an account and order a second one with their credentials!

TIP: About four times a year, you’ll see another Walgreens free photo deal where you can get 5 – 10 free 4×6 photos.
7. Stack manufacturer coupons and Walgreens in-store promos for free shampoo and conditioner.

As with mouthwash, the best time to buy hair care products is when you can combine Walgreens coupons with rebates. At Walgreens, the best brand of shampoo and conditioner you can get is TRESemme. They typically have a high-valued manufacture coupon you can combine with a Register Reward or Walgreens Cash offer — making it completely free.

8. Get Walgreens free shipping when you spend over $35, or ship to the store for free.

A Walgreens free shipping code is rare. Instead, you can get Walgreens free shipping on orders over $35 — or just send your orders straight to the nearest store for free.
TIP: Don’t forget to use Walgreens digital coupons to save more on your next Walgreens.com order.
9. Get Walgreens free COVID testing at over 6,000 locations.

Walgreens’ free COVID testing is available to anyone three years of age or older at more than 6,000 locations nationwide. They offer COVID PCR, COVID Rapid NAAT, or COVID Rapid Antigen tests, with the option to combine it with a flu test. All tests are contactless and available in the Walgreens drive-thru line so you don’t even have to go into the store.
You can find a Walgreens testing location and make your appointment on their website.
10. Get a Walgreens free COVID vaccine and booster.

You can get your COVID vaccine and booster for free at Walgreens. When you make an appointment for a COVID-19 vaccine at Walgreens, you’ll find out which vaccine they are offering on that day. If your preferred vaccine is not available at your location, check other nearby locations to see if they have the vaccine you want.
The vaccine is either covered by insurance or by government assistance — making it $0 for you. Plus, myWalgreens members can earn a $5 Walgreens Cash reward for every vaccine they get at Walgreens.
You can schedule your appointment and check availability online.
TIP: During myW Days (Oct. 4 – 7), you can earn $20 in Walgreens Cash rewards for each vaccine you get (up to three per member).
11. Get a free shingles vaccine at Walgreens with most insurance plans.

Walgreens offers a variety of vaccines on a regular basis, including the shingles vaccine. Most private health insurance plans will cover the cost of the shingles vaccine if you’re 60 years of age or older. Some plans will even cover the vaccine for those as young as 50.

12. Your health insurance likely covers a Walgreens free flu shot, too.

No copay is required. Keep an eye out for promotions where Walgreens will give you $5 in Walgreens Cash for a flu shot.
Without insurance, Walgreens flu shots will cost you around $40, but you can use your Walgreens Cash to help lower the cost.
