If you have a Verizon plan, you could be missing out on some seriously good deals if you’re not taking advantage of Verizon Up. It’s a rewards program for Verizon customers that offers benefits for your mobile plan, as well as tons of other perks. Just for being a Verizon customer, you’ll get access to presale concert tickets, a free Disney+ membership, free Starbucks stars, and dozens of other freebies.
Verizon already has a generous teacher discount, military discount, and healthcare discount, so be sure to take advantage of those if you can. But almost anyone with a Verizon plan can sign up for Verizon Up and start collecting freebies. Here’s everything you need to know.

1. Verizon Up Rewards is a free program every Verizon member is enrolled in automatically.

Verizon Up Rewards is simply a free rewards program for Verizon members. Rewards we’ve seen in the past include free perks like free tea samples, free Starbucks credit, and BOGO amusement park tickets. And the best part? You don’t need to register or sign up to access Verizon Up Rewards. As long as you’re a Verizon customer, are at least 18 years old, and live in the U.S., all these perks are free and available to you.
To check your rewards, all you have to do is:
- Sign in to your My Verizon account, either in the app or online.
- Click the “Why Verizon” tab, navigate to “Get More.” Click “Verizon Up.”
- On the app, just click the “Verizon Up” icon to start cashing in on your freebies.
2. You’ll earn Verizon points with every billing cycle.

Once you’re logged in, it’s time to start taking advantage of your perks. There are two ways to earn freebies:
First, you can cash out points for various offers in the app. Each billing cycle, a set amount of points (point values vary based on what kind of plan you have) will be credited to your account. You can redeem these points for things like tech products, gift cards, and tickets. Additionally, you can put the reward points toward your monthly bill! Once an offer is claimed, you can’t change your mind — so choose carefully.
There are also rewards you can get without using points: these offers are listed in the app and on the Verizon website. This is similar to the T-Mobile Tuesday format, where you can claim a free reward every week. In the past, Verizon Up has offered rewards like free Starbucks stars and exclusive discount codes at Verizon partners.
Right now until the end of March, all Verizon Up members can get six months of Disney+ membership for free and access to exclusive presale tickets to concerts and sporting events.
3. You can redeem those points for discounts on Arlo, Anker, Verizon accessories, and even Peloton in April 2023.
Rewards available in April 2023:
Note that these freebies and discounts are valid until the end of the month, or while supplies last. Claim your rewards ASAP, because this is a game of first come, first serve.
1. Get $85 off Arlo Video Doorbell until the end of the month (or while supplies last).
The Arlo Video Doorbell ($149.99, Best Buy) normally retails for just under $150. But as a Verizon Up member, you can get this for just $64.99. We’ve seen it go on sale for $79.99 at Best Buy in April 2023, so you’re better off snagging the Verizon Up deal.
2. Take $10 off select accessories until April 30.
Take $10 off select Verizon accessories, including headphones and fitness gadgets priced at $15 or more. Note that this deal can’t be applied towards any bundle deals, nor can you stack it with any special discounts or promos.
3. Save $90 on Anker Life Tune Pro headphones until April 30.
This month, you can take $90 off the Anker Life Tune Pro headphones ($149.99, Verizon). Once you claim your offer in the Verizon app or online, you’ll receive a promo code that you can use at checkout.
4. Score 40% off select Popsockets until the end of the month.
All throughout April, you can enjoy 40% off exclusive Popsocket products while supplies last.
5. (COMING SOON) Get up to $300 off eligible Peloton equipment.
The Verizon app doesn’t offer any more details about this offer, but keep an eye out for special discounts on select Peloton products in early April. We predict this deal will be claimed fast.
4. Here’s how to claim a reward you’ve saved:

Once you’ve decided on a reward, click “Claim This.” As soon as you hit the button, your points will be taken from your account. To get your reward, click “View Details” and then “Use Now.” You can also opt to save your reward for later. If you tap “Save for Later,” your reward will be saved under the “Use Rewards” tab.
Once you’ve claimed a reward, an expiration date will appear — so be sure to use it in time!

5. Rewards change all the time, so if you see something you want, don’t wait.

Verizon customers report that new rewards usually drop on the first of the month, but they can change at any time. For rewards that don’t require points (like free Starbucks stars), we recommend grabbing them as soon as possible. Claiming that reward is as easy as clicking “redeem” and logging in to your Starbucks account. And to buy discounted tickets, it’s just like purchasing regular concert or sports tickets — only cheaper! Once you pay for them, they’ll be delivered via Ticketmaster.
6. In most cases, there’s no limit to the rewards you can claim.
There’s no limit to these kinds of rewards, so claim as many as you can. Our best advice is to check the Verizon app every day for the rewards so you can claim them once they become available.
There is a limit to Super Tickets, though. Members can claim one Super Ticket every six months or one high-value Super Ticket (like the Super Bowl or March Madness) once per year. This limit actually applies to the whole phone plan. So if one person on the plan claims one, no one else on your plan can get one until the next 6-month or year period.
7. Points can be converted to Device Dollars, which can save you money on your phone plan.
If you don’t cash out your points for rewards, you can convert them to Device Dollars, which can be put toward your phone plan, upgrades, or new devices.
