Amazon’s Black Friday sale is over for 2023. It started at midnight PT on Friday, Nov. 17, and ended at midnight PT on Friday, Nov. 24. For the first time ever, shoppers could take advantage of a full week of Black Friday deals.
In 2023, Shoppers took advantage of discounts like up to 80% off toys, 55% off Shark, and up to 70% off Amazon devices. Some of our favorite deals included a $5 car vacuum, $80 Apple AirTags (4-pack), and $6 LePro AAA batteries.

KCL predicts the next Amazon Black Friday will begin Friday, Nov. 22, 2024.
Amazon hasn’t officially announced the next date for their Black Friday sale, but based on what they've done in recent years, we here at KCL predict that it’ll take place between Friday, Nov. 22, and Friday, Nov. 29, 2024.
How do we make our prediction?
For the last several years, Amazon Black Friday has been a Friday-to-Friday sale — starting the Friday before Thanksgiving, running through Black Friday (the day after Thanksgiving). In 2024, the Friday before Thanksgiving is Nov. 22, and Black Friday is the 29th — which is where we got our predicted dates.

Amazon never has their own official Black Friday ad, so in 2023, we made our own based on Amazon’s official Black Friday announcement and press release.
When does Amazon Black Friday usually start?
It’s pretty standard for Amazon to extend big shopping events like Black Friday. For the past couple of years, you could shop deals for 48 hours, with deals starting the Thursday (Thanksgiving) before Black Friday.
But in 2023, deals were available for an entire week. You could shop the sale starting at 12 a.m. PT on Friday, Nov, 17 until 12 a.m. PST at the end of the day on Black Friday, Nov. 24.
As for Cyber Monday 2023, official deals started at 12:01 a.m. PT after Black Friday and ran until 11:59 p.m. ET on Monday, Nov. 27. That means shoppers could find Cyber Weekend deals for 72 hours. Amazon has been doing this for a couple of years now.

Always join the “wait-list” for out-of-stock items you want. People add a lot of things to their cart and don’t actually buy them. When this happens, you can be next in line.

Black Friday through Cyber Monday, Amazon customers can save on gift cards with Lightning Deals and promotional credit offers from top brands and restaurants. In 2023, we found up to 22% savings on gift cards from our favorite retails like Bath & Body Works and Victoria Secret or from food joints like Cold Stone Creamery or Domino’s. Several of these deals came in the form of Lightning Deals, starting just a few days before Black Friday. But the vast majority of deals came on Black Friday.
Chase Ultimate Rewards with Prime

Save on Take-Out
Be it Amazon Prime Day or Black Friday, Amazon will almost always offer a special deal with Grubhub during bigger sale events.
In past sales, shoppers could get $10 off a GrubHub order over $25. In 2023, you could save 20% on orders $20 and up with a special code. Sign up for the existing free, one-year Grubhub+ membership trial to use the code during the promotional dates.
Save in the Prime Section
Thanksgiving through Cyber Monday, Prime members can save 25% when they spend $50 on select everyday essentials from Amazon brands’ Stock Up & Save program. Leading up to Black Friday, you’ll find a similar deal is running if you prefer to shop early: save 20% when you spend $50 on select items.
