For as long as we’ve been couponing, the trusty Proctor & Gamble Brand Saver Coupon booklets have arrived in the newspaper every month. In fact, the coupon booklets have been distributed in newspapers for the last 20 years. However, the days of the P&G newspaper insert are coming to an end: The Krazy Coupon Lady can confirm that the last P&G coupon insert booklet will be distributed on Jan. 1, 2023.
The Coupons.com CEO has felt like paper coupons would die, and this certainly feels like the official start of it. While digital coupons are easy to use, there’s nothing quite like the OG way of clipping coupons on a Sunday morning with your coffee in hand, so we understand if you’re in your *feels* about the news.
However, there’s no reason to officially freak out yet. You’ll still be able to find the P&G coupons on their website — and thankfully, P&G will also have coupons in other coupon flyers. Here’s everything we know about the P&G coupon news so you can prepare for savings in 2023.

When is the last P&G Coupons Booklet going to be distributed?
The last P&G coupon insert booklet will be distributed on Jan. 1, 2023. We have a full insert preview for Jan.1, 2023, here. So don’t panic in the coming weeks thinking you’re missing your coupon inserts. You can keep up with what coupon inserts you can expect with the 2023 Sunday Coupon Insert Schedule.
Brands like Tide and Downy were prominently in the P&G coupons insert — and will be missed.
Of all the coupon books, I have to say I held favoritism to P&G. Mainly because it contained so many products my family knew and loved. These coupon booklets included high-value coupons on products like Tide, Cascade, and Downy. I could always count on a hot Tide coupon to come out and an even hotter Target deal to pair with it to get my laundry detergent for dirt cheap.
But with digital coupons and rebates, I’m sure we’ll still save.
How can you still get P&G Coupons?
P&G Coupons will still be available on their website P&G Good Everyday, as well as in the form of digital coupons on retailers’ apps or loyalty cards. One downside to this is that these printable coupons and digital coupons typically limit you to one only, and the P&G printables expire in one day.
P&G states they’ll also feature coupons in other coupon flyers, like SmartSource and Save. So the paper coupons from P&G may not completely be extinct.
