Wondering what are the top 10 things to buy in July? Let’s just say fireworks aren’t the only thing hot this month!
In addition to plenty of coupons for food and summer needs, you can find bargains on furniture, bbq essentials, camping gear, and designer clothing. All you have to do is be on the lookout.
The best way to do that is to download the KCL app for money-saving coupons, deals, and tips.
1. Save up to 50-75% off indoor furniture.
You can see savings up to 50-75% off indoor furniture such as chairs, tables, and more toward the end of the month. When prices drop on big-ticket items like furniture, be prepared to act fast.
2. Buy seasonal produce cheap with BOGOs and coupons.
Hot weather means summer produce is plentiful, and stores are trying to move it as quickly as possible and have plenty of coupons for food. Corn, plums, peaches, strawberries, blueberries, cantaloupe, kiwi, and watermelon are all in season right now.
Don’t forget to check for coupons on produce — they do exist! Many produce companies, like Driscoll’s berries and Earthbound Farms, offer coupons on their websites. Last year, Driscoll’s strawberries at Target were $2.69 with a BOGO promotion. I combined the sale price with a $0.50/1 printable free manufacturer coupon from the Driscoll’s website, and paid only $1.10 for each pint of strawberries!

3. Stock up on hamburger and hot dog buns for less than $1.
Hamburger and hot dog buns are a must-have for summer grillin’. Last year, I bought one 8-pack of Ball Park hot dog buns for $1.39 and received a $1.39 coupons.com app credit, so they were free! Stock up in July when prices on buns are well under $1, and freeze them for use during the fall and winter months.

4. Grab low-priced burgers, hot dogs, and grilling meats with Fetch Rewards.
Summer BBQ season isn’t complete without traditional grilling meats. Since stores try to move products quickly, you can enjoy crazy low prices.
Last year, I grabbed Oscar Mayer Weiners for just $0.75 at Kroger with a Fetch Rewards offer.

6. Stack coupons, rebates, and offers for free sunscreen at Target.
Sunscreen is a summer staple, but it can get seriously expensive — unless you buy it in July.
Last year, I found an offer for Australian Gold Botanical Sunscreen at Target. I stacked a 25% off Circle offer with a $4/1 SmartSource.com coupon and an Ibotta offer, which dropped the price from $7.48 clearance price ($14.99 regularly) to negative $0.39! Of course, Target didn’t give me any money back, but the sunscreen was free!

7. Stack in-store and digital coupons to save big on bug spray.
Bug spray, like sunscreen, is a staple that is much easier to find during the summer months and virtually impossible to scout out other times of the year.

8. Enjoy discounts up to 50% or more on camping gear.
Last year, I saw an Ibotta offer for $10.00 off a Coleman Brighton sleeping bag from Walmart, making it only $22.97.

9. Find deals on fireworks with Groupon.
A few days after the 4th of July 2020 will be the best time to see clearance prices on fireworks.
Fireworks keep just fine if stored properly in a dry place, and you can break them out again at New Year’s!
In past years, TNT Fireworks has offered $10-$20 Groupon discounts just before the July 4th holiday (which is basically 50% off).
10. Look for specials on designer clothing at stores like Macy’s.
July is a great time to snatch up some deals on designer clothing at stores like Macy’s. Look for specials on lines like The North Face, Tory Burch, Ugg, Rag & Bone, Burberry, Steve Madden, Cole Hann, and more. Find more Macy’s deals.
