First, these are THE sales you should shop in July each year.

Upcoming Prime Sales

Amazon Prime Day

Amazon’s Prime Day was July 16 – 17, 2024. It was a week later than we predicted, but we saw early Prime Day deals to start rolling out the week of July 8.

What to shop for: The best deals on Amazon devices like Ring and Kindle — along with homeware, clothing, and beauty. You’ll also see up to 30% off on popular brands like Apple, YETI, and iRobot.

Target Circle Week

Target Circle Week ran through 13, 2024. Unlike Amazon Prime Day, you didn't need a paid membership to shop Target’s sales, but you did need to be a member of Target Circle (it’s free!). As of April, all Target shoppers get all Target Circle deals without claiming in the app them before shopping. Plus, you'll still get the 5% Target Circle Card discount. Look for daily deals as well!

What to shop for: Toys at 50% off, back-to-school essentials, summer apparel, and up to 40% off top home brands like Keurig, KitchenAid, Ninja, Dyson, Shark, and Bissell. Shop all the best Target Circle Week Deals now.

Walmart Deals

If Amazon and Target are doing it, you better believe Walmart is getting in on the July sale action. Dubbed Walmart Deals in 2024, this summer sales event starts ran through July 11. You didn't need a Walmart+ membership for this sale, but paid members got access to the sale five hours earlier than the general public on July 8.

What to shop for: Back-to-school essentials, electronics, home items, toys, outdoor items, travel, and more, including deals on brands like Dyson, GE, Lego, and Nintendo.

We know where to shop, here’s what to buy in July.

Back-to-School Personal Care at Walgreens

Send your grad off to college with a stash of personal care for the whole year from Walgreens. At up to 77% off, these are definitely stock-up prices for these brands. Combine digital coupons with sale prices and rewards offers to get Dove Body Wash and Tresemme Hair Spray for as little as $2 or Axe Body Spray as low as $2.47.

Check out all of the deals at Walgreens this week to score stock-up pricing on DoveAxeNexxus, and Tresemme products. Make sure you're signed up as a myWalgreens member to clip the digital coupons.

Electronics and Amazon Devices

As mentioned, you’ll see the best deals on Echo products, Fire Tablets, TV deals, cheap Beats Solo Wireless headphones, and more.

We’re already seeing some early Prime Day deals now that you can shop.

Tip: Believe it or not, Target sometimes has better prices on Amazon devices — especially if you have a Circle Card for the 5% discount. It’s a great idea to price compare these two stores during July sales.

School and Office Supplies

Back-to-school sales are in full effect throughout July and you’ll score the best deals at Target, Walmart, and Staples. Shop these sales early to make sure you check off your kid’s school supplies list.

Then, towards the end of the month, shop back-to-school clearance sales to get 70% - 80% off clearance at Target, Walmart, Walgreens, Hobby Lobby, and CVS.

Here are some back-to-school deals you can shop right now.

We just updated our Back-to-School Stock Up Price List for 2024 and here’s a sneak peek of the prices you should be looking for.

Large and Small Appliances

Along with the Big Three, Home Depot, Lowe’s, Best Buy, and Macy’s also have big sales in July.

Home Depot and Lowe’s have been known to offer up to $750 off major appliances like refrigerators, microwaves, and stoves. They also often offer free appliance delivery with a minimum spend, usually around $299. Watch for these deals to appear mid-month when many of the other summer sales begin.

We expect you’ll see special financing offers through these summer appliance sales. And we predict that Macy’s will drop some of their small Ninja appliances to current year price-lows — we’re talking Black Friday level deals.

4th of July Decor, Apparel, and Fireworks

Beginning July 5, start browsing for deals on red, white, and blue everything. Target usually starts at 30% off immediately after the holiday. You’ll get 50% off by mid-week and if anything is left on the week of July 7, you could get 70% - 90% off.

Walmart follows a similar Fourth of July clearance schedule, but if you want to start shopping clearance early, Hobby Lobby already has their Fourth of July goods marked down by 40%. We predict you’ll see closer to 60% off when we hit July 1.

Shop early to get your hands on popular clearance items and shop later to get the biggest discounts.

Summer Apparel for the Family

With back-to-school deals hitting shelves, summer apparel (swimwear, sandals, tanks, shorts) will be getting the clearance treatment this month.

You’ll find lots of deals on summer clothes in the Black Friday in July sales. Target will likely have women’s tees for $3, dresses under $10, and swim options for the family starting at $5. Cat & Jack kids’ clothes will be marked down by 30% during Target Circle Week

We’re watching for the return of Time and Tru dresses in every color at Walmart for $5 or less. If you see these prices this month, grab ’em because you won’t see them again until next year.

O-Cedar® Cleaning Supplies

If you’ve been eyeing it for a while, right now is the perfect time to buy the O-Cedar® EasyWring™ Spin Mop & Bucket System with 2 EXTRA refills, that alone are more than a $15 value. Plus, it's $6 off at BJ’s through Aug. 12. The system comes with the mop, bucket, and a refill, AND you get two extra refills.

You'll get the savings whether you’re shopping online or in-store. Be sure to clip the digital coupon when you add the mop to your cart at BJs.com. The discount will automatically apply at the checkout register, if you’re buying at the warehouse.

Snacks and Summer Meals

Although back-to-school typically makes us think of pencils and school uniforms, we also see some stellar deals on easy-to-grab snacks and packed lunch essentials. Amazon is your go-to for the best cheap snack deals. Shop Prime Day and get 30% - 50% off top snack brands like Planters, Frito-Lay, PopCorners, CELSIUS, and Quaker.

You'll also find July 4th deals at the grocery store. Here are some stock up prices on deals if you're hosting a barbecue on a budget for your Fourth of July celebration:
